Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The traffic is very close, and with a room facing the road it is noisy. Beautiful terrace facing a small idyllic lake suffers from the same traffic noise.

There was not enough surface space in the room so we only partially unpacked. There was no kettle in the room to make tea or coffee and only 1 bottle of water was provided upon arrival so if you have not planned for this and are not staying in the apartment units then you will be thirsty until you next visit a shop! The cafe is only open for breakfast and not at any other time which meant we kept having to order takeaway to be delivered - the hotel did not provide a list of reliable numbers so we had to hunt for these ourselves. I would advise guests to come with snacks. There is a food vending machine but it is very expensive. They have a room no. 13 (which I was offered but kindly declined) I was then given room 7 (perhaps that is ironic humour but after such a long journey I was just not in the mood for it) In spite of all this, the hotel is lovely, in a wonderful setting but I would only stay in the apartment next time with my own kitchen and a place to stock food. The hotel could have at least provided fresh bottled water each day and if the cafe is closed then a directory with numbers for taxis, food delivery places etc but these are the little gestures of hospitality that I think I may have taken for granted in my travelling years. I do not want this to be seen as a negative review as we were very comfortable here and with these small things considered in the future it would make an excellent stay.
The breakfast was good. Nice selection of hot and cold and very good coffee. It was self service which we didn’t mind as everything was stocked nicely and accessible.

we needed an extra pillow, but the reception closes at 20:00, so we had no one to ask it from at 21:00. another thing is that they had no restaurant there to have dinner. maybe this is only the case in winter. but we did find a nice restaurant near by.
this small hotel is located in a beautiful spot on the lake. we came in winter, but i would hope we could come again in summer - to swim and enjoy the surroundings better. the reem was very spacious and comfortable. the breakfast was great. our dog enjoyed a beautiful walk near by. we loved this place and warmly recommend it.

Though the room is compact, but it's quiet and facing the garden with good view. Window is not big, but could see a bit the lack. Have a big and nice garden, good for a short walk, and also can seat nearby the lack enjoy the nice weather. Very good locations, nearby both the "5-see-Fahrt" as well as the "Grosse Ploen See Fahrt" (opposite of the road)

The room cleaning service was not as we expected. Room floor was not getting cleaned or vacuumed so after few days of stay it was quite a mess and we had to clean it partially ourselves to be able to walk around on barefoot.
Location is great, also rooms feel modern and new.

The room was too hot but keeping a window open during sleep was no option as the traffic was so loud. It was actually difficult to sleep, despite great beds and a great room, due to the sound of traffic. Might be better with a room facing the back and not the front?
The lake behind the Lake House was already magic. Great rooms, great beds and extremely friendly staff. It was really close to go for a beautiful long hike next to the water.

No elevator; next to a road which is busier than we expected so there was some noise in the evening. Restaurant closed, a pity! Nearest next one is quite a walk.

All was fine.
Nice location just off the main road. Open park-like setting for walking pet, and great lake access. Nordic design features in room an added touch. Nice to know that breakfast is also available. Would stay for more than one night next time.

No Place to eat in walking distance.
