Great hotel. Our room was spacious and even with the extra bed we had enough space for a family of 3. We found the neighbourhood very quite and nice.

Receptionist, not very friendly. Very abrupt at check-in. I asked if I could have a look at the menu for the restaurant and she said “ oh, have you not booked? I have one table which I cannot reserve so if somebody has sat there it may not be available “, so I said that’s fine I’ll go somewhere else. When we return to the hotel later most of the tables are free anyway. So just her attitude lost them some potential business. A bit disappointing really considering the hotel was really nice.

All was perfect!

Everything was super hygge :). The personnel were very friendly, the rooms stylish, the breakfast was fantastic and dinner was excellent. They even brought a dog bed, bowl and good to our room.

It is a fair way from the centre if you need to get to the city, but not the hotels fault here.

Great atmosphere in green part of Hamburg. Room and bathroom were nicely clean. Staff were helpful, especially as my wife had leg injury at the time. Breakfast products were of a great quality.

The beam in our room we believe is structural, but worried we might bump our head when we got in and out of the bed. Never happened. :)

The staff are so warm, welcoming and helpful. They are really first class hosts. They also really know what they are doing; tremendous food, super wine and advice on choosing, expert barman, quick service and beautiful decor. Perfectly clean and obviously a very well run establishment.

The location is probably not ideal for travellers visiting the city centre and the main tourist attractions; we chose this neighbourhood for a reason.

Charming atmosphere & beautifully designed hotel with a spirit all its own, great staff and a lovely restaurant on the ground floor. Quite memorable )

What I always find disturbing is the restaurant situation. you have to book ages in advance to get a table, if you book your room last minute there is no chance of finding a space to have dinner. And this time I was really disappointed by my favourite hotel, because there was absolutely NO CHANCE at all to get food in the evening. You cannot even have a quick bite, standing at the bar. I was denied any food at 5:30 pm, a time where the restaurant was not even half full... and you cannot order neither in your room as the kitchen was simply overwhelmed. Considering that this hotel is in a residential area, far from any other restaurants or bars, this lack of service is just unacceptable. I will still come back for the wonderful rooms, the beauty of the space and the warmth and helpfulness of most of the staff, but if you book, either make other plans or book a table well in advance. and BTW: food and drinks are rather pricey (but good traditional food with a modern twist).

This is one of my favourite hotels in Hamburg and I have stayed multiple times. Especially in the cold season this is a true retreat, cosy and warm, the fireplace and the inviting sofas in the bar/restaurant (if you get a space...), but also the warm and comfortable furnishing in the room. It is a true home from home. And the staff is - most of them - wonderful, caring and welcoming.

The restaurant was booked very well and we had to wait until 20.30 hrs before we could get a table for our diner. Food quality was however very good. Staff at the reception did not react very pleasantly during our check in. Also the price of the breakfast is high compared to what you get.

Perfect quit situated in Hamburg. The restaurant is very nicely decorated. Perfect breakfast. The rooms are also nicely decorated and very quit. All works perfectly.
