The place does not have the 'red cards' arrangement.

Peter is very friendly and is willing to help with everything that you need. Also, he speaks English. The apartment is comfortable and well equipped. Few minutes of walking there is a "farm store " with bakery, fresh vegetables and fruits, and all kind of products they make by themselves. Very tasty. For little children there is a big farm with animals.

Windows need screens because if you open them moths etc..,, enter. This is a small complaint, more of a suggestion.

Atmosphere in the country and convenience of train travel in the area. Very helpful host who guided us.

Not much choice if you want an evening meal they just had pizzas, but they were happy to direct us to place to eat in the next village. Breakfast quite basic.

The owner loaned us some bikes for the day free of charge which was nice to be able to explore the area. Nice quiet location.

We rented a hotel room 8 nights hotel is located in the fields of Stegen. Green spaces of peace and quiet. Close to Freiburg. Large parking. Clean and spacious room equipped with kitchenette and fridge and all you need. Owner Peter helped us with explanations and requests we had. Let us ride a bike at the hotel. Fluent in English and many other languages. Thank you Peter for the warm hospitality and excellent service And goodwill. We had fun getting to know you and stay in your hotel.

It s a shame that the chef no longer cooks his delicious meals although home made pizzas and pasta dishes are on offer. Ask the owner to point you in the direction of The Bear restaurant in the next village, an gem of a place.

Delightful, spacious and very comfortable room, quiet, clean with every facility including a kitchenette, deep bath with shower, excellent wifi connection. Our room had the added bonus of a balcony with far reaching views across the flower filled meadows to the distant mountains. Breakfast is exceptional with some delicious surprises. Plus the owner speaks excellent English and is most informed and helpful. This is a wonderful place if you have children. There are toys and books and an amazing farm to wander around a few yards down the road.

The fridge makes noice which disturbs during night.

Very friendly englisch speaking man at the reception. Very large room (ca. 50^m). Kitschen in the room. Very calm, location is good for visiting the black forest.
