We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

NetherlandsThe beds were not that comfortable for our liking. The internet could be better, as the signal was dropping frequently.
The hotel is located in a quiet place near the lake, but very near the highway too. The rooms are very spacious, and we got one on the ground floor. There is plenty of parking space and our back door opened to one of the lots, which was vert convenient. The locale near the hotel is fantastic with beautiful views and open grassy space. The breakfast is very average for the price they charge.

I keep wondering why they have these stickers in the bathroom with regards to the environment (you know: towels on the rack means I use them again. Towels on the floor: please change them). We had 4 towels: one was on the floor and we still got clean towels EVERY day. Why offer the choice if you're going to change them every day anyway?????
Location is awesome: view of both the nearby lake and Neuschwanstein Castle in the distance. Big terrace. Good breakfast and restaurant with local food. Easy to reach, plenty of parking spaces available as well.

Germanywhen I first walked into my room it stunk like cat urine, I went back downstairs to ask for another room ( there were rooms available according to their sign on the front door ) , but the woman behind the desk just send a girl up with some kinda steamer. When I asked the girl what the machine was she couldn’t answer my questions, didn’t speak german and very little english. So now the room spelled like bleach and cat-pee. So my entire stay I had to keep the windows open because of that stench. And with that I got the cigarette stink from the people downstairs coming into my room. There were stains on the bathroom floor, the light above the sink didn’t work, no tissues either. And every other hotel I ever stayed in in the area always had at least a water cooker, they had nothing in the room. The breakfast was the same thing every morning, so after day 3 I was sick of it. Not a very big selection and not even fresh fruits were available, only fruit-cocktail. They offered internet, but it didn’t work for more that 15 minutes at a time for the first two days and after that I couldn’t even get on anymore. Also they charged 13€ per night for my dog and didn’t offer anything for it. At other hotels ( even at lower pet rates ) they put out a dog bed, little treats for the dogs, food bowls, they didn’t offer anything. And this was the highest pet rate I have ever paid. It’s a shame, it could’ve been a very nice stay, but the people who are ruining it, oops I meant running it, don’t seem to care about the customers.
