Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe shower was tiny and the shower door was difficult to close just right so I didn’t have a puddle of water outside of the shower. Minor issue though.

United KingdomThe hotel rooms don't have Aircon. Normally wouldn't be an issue but it wa 37c when we arrived so the first night was extremely hot. Luckily it cooled down. I think it will become more common in the summer for it to be hot, so I think the hotel need to invest in something
The staff were very helpful and friendly, the location was good to walk to the mall. About 15 minute walk to pubs and restaurants. Breakfast was very nice. I don't think you will get better elsewhere.

United States of AmericaThe staff was rude at times. I came in 10 minutes before the reception closed to checkout because I had an early departure and the man working the desk was upset with me because he had already shut down the computer system. He said it would take 10 minutes to get the system back up and told me to come back in the morning. I asked if he would be there at 05:00 and he walked back and checked me out within 1 minute. Also, the night before checkout I sent a message through Booking to ask if it was possible to get a refund for breakfast that I had prepaid for since they would not be serving breakfast before I left. They did not respond to my message for a few days and then told me that since they didn't get my message until after I left that they would not refund my money.
Clean rooms and good breakfast.

GermanyMissing some of the comforts of a modern hotel though: keyless lock, room thermostat, shower thermostat (it only had individual Knobs) TV was too small for being on the other side of the room. Vending Machine defective (takes your money without goods)
Older Hotel but nicely renovated with interesting themed rooms.

LithuaniaThe mattress on the bed was too soft for me. The body sagged more than I would have liked. The blanket for me was thin and short. I had to put it in a diamond to wrap it up comfortably. The large window in my shower room looked directly into the windows of the neighboring house. The window was opaque, but there was no curtain either. Coming out of the shower, there was always a feeling that you can be seen.
A very decent hotel that met my expectations. The hotel has been recently refurbished. in IKEA style and everything looks fresh. The room has everything you need for a comfortable and long stay: refrigerator, TV, electric kettle, ironing board, safe. Roomy wardrobe. A very comfortable table for working with a computer and documents. Very good Wi-Fi. The room was cleaned impeccably every day. The toilet, sink and shower were always cleaned, towels were changed every day, even those that I used only once and did not leave on the floor. If the toilet paper or shower gel were running low, it was refilled on the same day. The hotel is located very close to the old town. 15 minutes walk from the train and bus station. There are many shops and cozy cafes around. Lovers of Cuban cigars can find a very decent „La Casa del Habano“ here. Breakfasts at the hotel are quite varied, bread and pastries are always fresh. Omelet, bacon, cheeses, sausages, juices, water, milk, fruits, yoghurts, oatmeal - everything is standard and tasty. There are always enough free tables for everyone. Tables are always served with a set of cutlery, cups and saucers for coffee. An Americano coffee with cream is brought to each customer in a separate jug. I would especially like to mention the very friendly hotel staff. Always in a good mood and speak English very well. You can park your car in the hotel's fenced car park, but you have to pay € 7 per day.

United KingdomThe shower door never properly closed so I would always have a huge puddle of water outside the shower every morning. Furthermore, My room faced the center of the hotel so when anyone would go sit out in the common area and started talking it sounded like they were right next to you. I didn't like that we had to pay for parking. In my opinion, I think that should be included in the stay. 7 Euro a day seems excessive.
The breakfast was amazing. I highly recommend that you pay for it because you are not going to get anything better in the area. Additionally, the staff were extremely friendly and spoke English making the trip a lot easier.
