Shower was poor, either very hot or very cold. Room right next to the train line which was really noisy.

1) The rooms are close to railway trail so there can be noise in the evening. It may bother someone who's sensative to sound. Personally I and my parents were totally okay with it.

1) The staff at reception was very friendly and helpful. 2) The room is spacious and clean. 3) A lot of useful utitlities in the hotel. E.g. still/sparkly/hot water, coffee which are all complimentary. There's also an ATM and a few vending machines inside of the hotel. 4) The location of the hotel is also very good. ~6 mins walking distance to Cologne Cathedral, the commercial area and the railway station Cologne Central. 5) Sufficient sockets for plugging and charging. It's very good value for money consider the room price is not very high.

The train runs directly behind the hotel and there is a park on the other side that was noisy until well after midnight. Earplugs are recommended!

Not much

Although a cheap hotel (unless it is festival time), it has always been welcoming, well situated for beer breweries and train station, clean and comfortable. Breakfast doesn't cost as much as other hotels and is filling. We try to stay here every time wecome to Cologne.

The room had a acid/ sour smell. The price of the room was quite expensive for what you get. But maybe thats the time of the year.

No elevator - very tough to carry the luggage esp on the 2nd floor room. The toilet bowl is dirty.

The location is very near to the Main Station.

The shower heater was not working and the housekeeper entered my room with his own key barely 2 seconds after knocking on my door, and it was half an hour before the check-out time. It was rude and inappropriate, for example if I was changing inside and he came in. Very bad service from this guy

The bed was comfortable, the concierge was friendly, and the room is quite large.

Stayed there for two nights, checked in on 22Feb - checked out on 24Feb. We had booked for a family of four and room 31 was given to us. Based on our findings below, it seemed no preliminary checks/preparation had been performed by local personnel before assigning the room as available for checking us in. Bathroom door could not be locked because it would not fit to the frame. By all means it looked like a long standing unresolved repair. When we got in we found a room that was not dust cleaned properly, there was plenty of dust over the furniture frame located bedsides. Bunker beds were without sheets, they were provided upon our request and we picked them ourselves from the reception desk.

We booked a double room and were hoping to have one big bed = one big matress, but that wasn't the case and it was more like two small beds put together. Also the walls were not isulated super well so it was kinda cold in the evenings (depite the heaters) and you could hear the trains passing by. But those were all small things and we would stay again for a short trip.

The hotel is perfect for a short city trip! The location is just a few minutes by foot fron the Kölner Dom and the Hauptbahnhof and we liked that it was a little bit away from the hustle and bustle of the station. Everything was very easy going and the staff was friendly. It has the hostel feel to it, but in a nice, modern way. The room was spacious and good value for the money.

Helpful, friendly staff, clean rooms. Very comfortable mattress! Quiet, even though it was close to the train tracks. Very central location. Would definitely stay there again.
