The staff are so friendly and accomodated all our request to the best of their ability. Location to most of the important places are all within walking distance. Would definately come back here when in Hamburg.

The stereo music player was a bit outdated and not very useful. The wi-fi was unfortunately very weak and unreliable, probably due to the fact that the room was at the end of a long corridor and didn't get the repeater's signal so well.

The room was very spacious, well equipped and quite tastefully furnished. The bathroom was also rather big and comfortable. It was a corner room with exposition on two sides, both quiet and discreet. The closeby Meridian Spa is also worth visiting.

Just a minor nitpick and hardly worth mentioning. Of course, we all hope for a breathtaking view from our hotel room. Sadly, we could not see the Elbe or the Elbphilharmonie from our window, but rather just the neighboring building. Again, truly a nitpick given that the hotel is so close and the stuff very nice.

The Elbphilharmonie is just 5 to 10 minutes away by foot. Hence, this location is perfect to enjoy a show or concert at the Elbphilharmonie. Generally speaking though, the location seemed ideal to reach a lot of cool places in Hamburg. Nice!

Honestly, these items pale in comparison to the positive aspects. The pillows go flat as soon as you lay on them and the bed was a bit more firm than we prefer, but we've found these to be typical for European hotels. The parking was expensive, but we knew that from other reviews and also realize that the hotel has no control over the price, since a separate company operates it. Additionally, the parking price seems to be comparable to other hotels in the area.

We had a great stay at The Madison! The room and bathroom were among the larger ones we've had in Europe, and there was nice counter space in the bathroom as well. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms and public spaces were clean. Dinner at Marley's Restaurant was so good the first night that we ate there again the second night (Thai coconut soup, Caesar salad, chicken Singapore, and creme brulee were all delicious). The parking garage was easy to find with decent sized spaces, although some were blocked off due to the concrete breaking up (arriving between 5-6 pm on a Friday, there were multiple spaces available). The location was walkable to every place we wanted to visit. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to others.

We felt breakfast was rather expensive so didn’t go. Also, the beds were made as two singles next to each other but the beds kept sliding apart, they need something to attach them to each other for when the room has one big bed.

Wide room, large bed, and very well equipped. A small kitchenette is a plus! The staff was very nice and friendly. The position of the hotel is great to walk around the city or take the subway/bus.

I hardly imagined that a hotel can be so great. Immaculate environment in the heart of the city. Easily accessible, incredibly large rooms with private hi-fi and all necessary amenities. Excellent breakfast and great room service. The staff was excellent. Sparking clean and neat place to stay.
