Only a couple rooms have a decent view and the hotel ads give a well different impression. Got a side view only after complaining. Room incredibly hot even well after the sun has set and outside is cool, probably due to the way the hotel is built. Pool not nice and needs a refit, Sauna laughable, changing corner horrible. Incredibly uncomfortable terrace by the pool is useless to relax but is used instead from people through the night to drink and talk and is very noisy. Breakfast very complete indeed in beautiful setting but no highlights like local, fresh or bio products. Some of the stuff unfriendly.

    Location obviously, breakfast room

Our room was in a portion of the hotel not served by a lift.

The hotel was convenient to the Schloss and historic area of Fulda, and the room was very comfortable. The breakfast room is in a baroque orangerie overlooking the Schlosspark. The restaurant was fine.

The decor of the main hotel part is a bit dated and faded. Overall the room was not worth the money.

The restaurant was extremely filled on Good Friday. I would prefer that I get a realistic waiting time instead of waiting two hours for the food. I could still decide to wait or go to another restaurant. By the way, the quality of the food was not convincing.

Everything was fine and as expected ecept the restaurant.

No iron or kettle in room (except highest grade) can be requested from reception but depends on availability.

Very close to town and next to beautiful Schlossgarten. Easy check in and out, with helpful staff. Nice little balcony which would be ideal in summer. Overall comfortable room but mattress and duvets were a little on the thin side.

The room was clean, quiet and had balcony access. The room had an amazing view of the schlossgarten and town. The beds were comfortable and the room had coffee making facilities and a minibar. The hotel interior was also beautifully decorated. The hotel was within close proximity to the Christmas markets, public transport and city centre.

The breakfast for 18 EUR, the quality of the food in the restaurant is very poor, the parking is possible just in the park house for 15 EUR, internet is extreme slow,

The old (solid) building, made problems for mobile communication in the lower floor rooms. Housekeeping services lacking: (in a four day stay) there were too few towel changes, no renewal of the (meagre) soap and shampoo supplies.

The breakfast room and service - high class. The excellent restaurant in the cellar. The wire connection for broadband. Good garage facilities

This is a really great hotel in an extreme picturesque location. It's hard to imagine any more beautiful place to enjoy breakfast than in the 'Schloßgarten' of this hotel. And if the weather don't admit eating outside the interior is almost as magnificent. Also great about this hotel is the staff, who really make you feel welcome. We were offered to change rooms to a bigger and better room upon arrival. Everything with a friendly smile. A nice little pool also add to the great experience. Also the Diana Keller restaurant, great!

It's very expensive for the value. A place for very old people (we were the youngest by far). Breakfast hall is beautiful but the breakfast was very very sad and "old school". Hotels like Platzhirsch in fulda exceed that by far. The hotel overall is and appears old but not classical but simply 80/90s.

The bed covers were thin and there did not appear to be any extra blankets, which was unfortunate for a relatively cool autumn night.

A modern hotel in a beautiful location beside the 18th century Schlosspark and close to the cathedral. We were disappointed with the room that was initially allotted to us, a so-called "family room" off a long daylight-less corridor on a lower-ground floor but when we asked to change the helpful staff put us in a much nicer room with a view of the cathedral.

The hotel is situating in the best location of the city for tourists, but performed like a business hotel. Maybe it is a business hotel,,, I cannot define it clearly. But good enough for one night.

In the center of the city, next to the Stadtschloss, park and the cathedral. Free mini bar drinks (except Schnaps, Liquor), had a balcony in the superior double room. (No special view, but quiet at least.) Friendly staff at the reception.

I disliked the parsimony (bordering on stinginess at times!)18 Euros extra for breakfast with ample options locally.. 15 Euros for parking; 5 for a sauna; even 5 for the use of the TV! Sad that such penny pinching should spoil a trip to my favourite German city....

I have stayed before and am booked in again in Nov. I also was the coordinator for a group visit (from Crediton) in 2003 and 2012. I like the polite and helpful staff, the facilities and superb location.

the hotel is a conference hotel and does not care adequately for individual travellers. bar was closed on a saturday due to lack of guests i was told. sauna had to be switched on on request. mini bar is far too expensive. telly is approx 30 years old but looks nice due to the antiqe unit around it. loads of cloth hanger units from previous conference in lobby, which makes the lobby very unwelcoming and not cozy. bath robes are only available on request and have to be collected from reception, an absolute faux pas in a four star hotel at that price level. the maritime hotel admin needs to look after individual guests with greater care. if they offer the hotel to individual guests, they should care for them properly. i would come back if individual guests would get better care. it is a bit pricey for what is on offer and the fact that is is only in the small town of fulda.

very frienly staff, particularly the breakfast lady. the hotel is wonderfully located in the castle park with views towards the cathedral. lovely breakfast buffet in wonderful castle salon overlooking the park with terrace in summer time. only 5 mins from old town fulda.
