Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

The customer service overlooked my request for setting up the sofa bed, and I had to call three times to get it done

Here is the English translation of your text: The listing stated that the apartment had a washing machine, but this was not the case. Instead, there was a laundry room in the basement, and it was paid. Detergent was only provided upon my request. This was disappointing for us. The host said that the listing didn’t specify whether the washing machine was inside or outside the apartment. They mentioned they would refund the payment I made. Other than that, the kitchen equipment was sufficient, but I would have expected items like tea, coffee, and cooking oil to be available in the apartment. Providing disposable hotel-style slippers would have been a nice touch.
The apartment was very well designed, and the products used in the apartment were of high quality. Both the apartment and the building were very clean and comfortable.

The apartment is modernly furnished and in a very new building. It is located in a nice and quiet area, with a U-bahn station, two supermarkets and restaurants within a short walking distance. The parking is available for a reasonable fee at the underground garage with easy access to it. The check-in instructions were clear and simple. The balcony offers a nice seating area. Kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. There were enough towels provided.

Great location – close to the metro and Penny, Rewe, quiet neighborhood. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed.We received clear instructions for check-in/out and also used the parking.

Shower is a little like living on a sailboat or a submarine, but it’s not a dealbreaker. Just to some explaining to do for the kid.
Wonderful property. Family friendly. Very clean, well stocked for a few days or a few weeks. Very quiet neighborhood. There is a really really good bakery about 14 min walk away (not the one that is next to the bank).

Shower was between the toilet and the sink, only with a shower curtain, so after showering we had lots of water on the floor. Should have been a tool to remove the water after showering. Or maybe it was, but we didn't find it.
Very delicate and big apartment with two separate bedrooms, perfect for parents and two kids. Everything was well explained in the welcome papers. The kitchen was well equipped so we had a couple of dinners in the apartment. Location was perfect. Short way to food stores, gas station when food stores were closed. Nice with a good vacuum cleaner so we could clean up aorund the dining table and elsewhere. Would definitely chose the same apartment next visit to Munich.

The only downside is the bathroom is not the most comfortable, water is constantly pouring out from under the curtain.

We had an excellent stay at the Max Lodging Serviced Apartments. The location was superb, just a few minutes from the metro station and easily accessible to the city center. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, which we greatly appreciated. The apartment was modern and fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was perfectly furnished, allowing us to prepare home-cooked meals according to our tastes. The staff were very friendly and always responded quickly to our requests. Thank you for providing great service and a warm atmosphere throughout our stay. We will definitely return!

It is recommended to mention in the description that the washing machine is in a shared space and requires coins to operate.
The location is closed to U-Bahn and grocery stores. It cost about 15 minutes to arrive attractions. Besides, the apartment is well-equipped and very tidy. Staffs always answer your questions quickly.

Very modern and comfortable apartment. We had a problem with toaster and it solved for 5 minute by new one from administration. Everything organised on high level. Closed to subway station and Penny supermarket.

It is not a problem bur the apartment is inside the low-emission zone in Munich. If you come with a car, the car needs to have the green sticker; otherwise you may get a ticket. It would be good if it was clearly written in the description so that visitors can arrange the sticker before coming.
The apartment was very nice, clean, well equipped, spacious, close to subway. There is a curtain that can be pulled to offer some privacy to people sleeping on the sofa bed.
