The carpet was a little worn and stained.

The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious with a luxurious shower. Our room qas spotless. Location very convenient for seeing Freiburg old town on foot.

There's nothing we particularly disliked. The lobby felt a bit dark and and I noticed some dust accumulating in some corners of our room. But these weren't a big deal for us.

The location was excellent and rooms were less dated than I had expected which was a pleasant surprise. There was also a 2nd inner door separating the sleeping area from the bathroom/entrance which helped greatly with soundproofing. Easy access to parking, located in a public garage underneath the hotel.

Our 13 month old broke a glass on the floor of the room and instantly the personal came and cleaned it up.

Breakfast, good but not at the cost of 22€, too pricy for what you get. If you walk around the hotel you find almost only German signs. It happen me not to speak German so it can be annoying. There was also a lady at the reception who doesn't feel good with English, that was a surprise for this hotel category.

Position fantastic, 3 min. walking from the cathedral. Parcking is a public cover parking not from the hotel but in the same building.

Already when booking the hotel a couple of weeks ago, I had mailed them to ask about Gluten Free and Vegan breakfast options, they mailed me back to just talk to the people at the breakfast buffet. I asked it again upon arrival at the reception desk, they had not been informed, and would inform the people at the breakfast service. When I arrived at breakfast, the people did not know and they could also not tell me what was vegan and gluten free. They were very friendly, but they had not been informed, and the options were frankly very limited.

That the parking is not free of charge. The price is preferential for hotel guests, for example in our case, we paid 94 euros for 7 days.

Breakfast was varied enough but not opulent. Ideal for short stays, boring for longer stays.

When we arrived the heater was closed so we had to wait the room to be heated after we turned on the heater at least 2-3 hours and we were the in December

there is no free parking, at least none that we know of or found. there is a parking lot underneath the hotel but it is with additional payment and it could greatly enhance the experience to include free parking. It needs to be just a tad cheaper for it to be called a real value stay/ or a steal but the price is fair

Location was excellent - perfect even - right in the middle of the old town center breakfast was rich enough for everyone to enjoy rooms were perfectly clean atmosphere in the hotel is relaxing could sleep up to 3 people in one room if needed(single sofa bed) or 2 adults and 2 toddlers if 1 adult sleeps on the sofa bed

Hotel relies on public car park which can be full; nowhere else nearby so could be a problem for disabled guests.
