Problems with finding my reservation when I came , which made me stress a bit. In bad and bathroom were hairs. I think ceiling can be painted a bit, we’re some yellow spots. Housekeeper didn’t knock my door in the morning(9.20), just came in while I was changing my clothes, no apologies. Breakfast staff not speak English, hard to communicate. When I said I want to see buffet first and decide if I want to eat, everyone just was following me and not politely asked me to give signature for paying breakfast later. Gave me not comfortable feeling, like people not trust me. While check out lady was not really interested to ask if my stay was good . “Everything was fine, 21 e for breakfast to pay” no eye contact with face like 😐.

- considering that the hotel has 4 stars, it is interesting not to have slippers in the room.

- the location of the hotel is great. you can go to the city center by walking easily. - the room and the facilities are clean. - it is a big advantage to have a parking right under the hotel.

When checking in, there was a bit of an attitude with one of the people at the Desk but it was pretty late in the evening so not a big deal. Lack of pillows on the bed which ended up killing my neck as well as my other partners on my stay. The room could get quite hot whilst in season, would be great if there was some form of air conditioning since it got pretty uncomfortable

The location was perfect to travel, eat at restaurants and was in close proximity to other amenities. Staff were polite during the stay and helped with general inquiries with how to use the train system for e.g. as well as other questions which as a tourist made it a lot easier! Bathroom was spacious.

The bathroom was pretty cramped, and the shower/tub narrow and a bit tricky to handle. The Friesenstrasse seems to be a party mile on weekends, and there's also some roof terrace opposite that also has parties, so it was a bit loud at times. Closing the windows helped, but then you needed to turn on the old fashioned AC, which itself makes quite some noise.

Nice location close to the city center, bars, shops... Nice room with a good view over the city, good soundproofing in the windows, curtains that actually make the room dark enough to sleep, possibility to buy soft drinks ad snacks in the lobby at night, friendly staff. The bathroom had a tub.

In a very festive streets with many clubs so if you travel during the weekend, expect to hear very loud club music until the 5am closing - earplugs needed if you want to sleep.

Close to very good restaurants and cafés on Friesenplatz, close to the main tourist attractions (10 min walk to the Dom), the room was spacious and comfortable, they provided a comfortable baby bed.

It’s very tired looking unfortunately. It’s far from 4*standards in many ways. The aircon unit was probably from the late 70’s. It worked, but very noise and fiddly to operate with the remote which is hanging on a cable attached to the main unit - so it’s rather and extended control panel than a remote controller. Mould in bathroom, shower gel was not topped up and pump was broken.

Location was fairly close to central however it is in a middle of a party street…. Until early morning, loud music and trashy people are guaranteed. Good breakfast

No aircon and that was on me because I didn't check the description with enough care. But I still had a decent stay with the window open when the temperature was about +25 outside.

Great breakfast buffet and not too many guests at the same time. Very quiet room (or absence of other guests on that floor). Nice and firm bed. Lovely staff. Location was great.
