    nothing really

A great hotel located right in the centre of Hameln, everything you need is walking distance. a Nice park across to walk in, market in front on saturday. Very clean hotel and rooms, nice comfy beds and adequate facilitaties. Nice to have option for either a chique restaurant but also the more cosy Bierstube, where we ate. Good food. Breakfast was GREAT one of the best we had this year. VERY elabprate and a cook to make eggs to order. All in all, for this price, fantastic value.

The restaurant is a bit pricey and the beds are quite firm (too firm for me but depends on what you are used to of course)

It's really close to town. You can walk anywhere- 5min to town, 10min to the train

The room size, the fact no refrigerator was in the room. Also the lack of preparation on the fact I booked a room for two people and only one soap bar and one towel was given. Also no toothpaste the WiFi was extremely weak. Not what I expected for a 4 star hitel. A week prior I booked with a 3 star hotel it was much better

The staff and the fact they checked us in early also the breakfast.

Stayed a another hotel for a cheaper price which had a mini bar in the room. Maybe the Mercure could look at adding this facility in the future.

Room was a decent size. Every room had a balcony, even though every room was a no smoking room you could go out onto the balcony and have a smoke as ashtrays were provided.

The pool was quite remote and you had to follow a long and cold corridor to arrive to a facility that looked like an old school changing room from the 70's. No dressing gown in the room to start so had to find a member of staff to get some.

Hotel, staff, bed, cleanliness were perfect. Breakfast was copious and delicious.

If you wanted fried eggs at breakfast you had to try to find the chef to cook them which was impossible. The toaster is USELESS. If something ran out then it was tough luck as it was not replaced. The tea was terrible. We were told breakfast at weekends was until 11am, until Saturday morning when we arrived to see a sign in German ONLY saying I was 10.30am that day - not good and no warning of the time change.
