Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I couldn't find anywhere local to eat, so I finished up going into Karlsruhe, where I failed to find anywhere to my taste. Not the hotel's fault.
I loved the breakfast-room robot! I hadn't come across a bike cage before, but it worked well - a member of staff locked my bike in and took it out again the next morning. The Karlsruhe light rail was very convenient to get into town.

No telephone is the room. And youtube on TV did not work.
Clean and tidy. Helpful staff. Charging device for electro car was available :). Great breakfast!

Everything was great, staff was super friendly and caretaking. The collecting dishes-robot by the breakfast suprised me, really cool. Hotel is nice and very clean. Would love to come back!

The bedding was very synthetic. Uncomfortable pillows (cheap synthetic) and also the duvet was equally unpleasant.
It’s clean, nice looking, comfy beds and really nice and helpful staff. Great location for those travelling to the Messe. Good breakfast too.

A bit complicated check-in processes. I booked 3 rooms and couldn't collect them altogether at once and pay for them. We had to split the reservation between me and my family and pay for each room separately.
Spacious rooms, comfy beds, good location of the hotel. Flexible reservation terms (no pre-payment needed). Great accommodation option for travellers.

Only minus was that the airco didn’t seem to work and the pillow was too soft.
It was a really nice hotel. Plus points: - good shower - comfortable bed - nice and clean rooms - decent breakfast - plenty of free parking space incl. charging for electric cars

Very comfortable hotel close to the city and just a couple of steps from the Karlsruhe exhibition center. Very clean, a large parking area, a convenient system to check in.

An EV charger is present nearby, not at the property itself, that loser wasn’t working well, again not to blame the property. So would be great if the hotel has a charger

There is no food at the hotel (only breakfast). It is also very far away from the centre (taxi to the centre costs 35 euro). If you arrive by car, then you can find a restaurant in the evening in the surrounding area (but only one). During the day, there is a supermarket in front of the hotel door but no restaurant.
The people at the Reception were fantastic. Although you check in digitally, they are there to help you along the process. Very polite and nice people -THANK YOU! The heating system in the room I was checked in was not working properly. I gave it 2 hours but it did not heat the room. I went to the reception and asked for help and they immediately offered me another room on the same floor (so that I do not have to carry my staff up and down with the elevator). They ordered me a taxi to go to my business event in the centre and were super kind. Breakfast is good too. If you are attending an event at the Messe, stay there! (but come by car:-))

The closest hotel to the fair area, easy access to the city center, quiet area opposite of a supermarket.
