The shower could have been planned a little better. It was impossible not to get water all over the bathroom floor when showering.

Close to train station and walkable to restaurants. The staff was very nice and helpful. Several breakfast options were available too. The bed was comfortable!

This is just my personal preference, but I felt the 2 chairs and floor lamp in the room were too boxy and took up too much space,could have done with a lower profile.

Close to the train station. Room was immaculate, well appointed, with very comfortable bed, pillows and duvet. I liked having the desk area with ottoman to use as my ‘vanity table’ . Fluffy towels, good closets and storage, shower, water temp, and pressure. Staff was so friendly and helpful. The property in general seemed brand new and had a lovely, clean, modern vibe.

The most professional receptionists I've ever seen. We were accommodated upon arrival, earlier than check-in time. Drinks and snacks can be purchased on the first floor 24/7. The drinks were very tasty and special. The room is spacious, a bit old renovated, but for the price I booked it was quite good. There was a mini fridge in the room and it's very suitable. The hotel is located next to the train station, there are good Turkish restaurants and hookah bars nearby.

I was in Munich for work. My international train was canceled and no availability the same day, so I very last-minute booked this hotel to stay in Munich one more night. I came across it due to the vicinity to the station, and what a pleasant surprise. This hotel was incredible! I will stay here again when I come to Munich next.  When I arrived at 11:30, a very nice gentleman at the front desk went out of his way to coordinate with housekeeping to arrange an early check-in, even though I had only booked literally minutes before. I booked a room with balcony. The balcony is large, and I got to enjoy the sunshine. The bed and shower were comfortable. The room has a minifridge, complementary shampoo and conditioner, a bottle opener, etc. Everything you could need. The room also has AC, which was nice as it was a hot day. Wifi was fast.  The room has all the amenities you need. In the lobby, you can take free coffee and tea or water 24/7. Breakfast was varied and fresh. There is a small bar on site, so I got a nice beer and relaxed on my balcony at night. There is construction going on around the hotel, but it did not bother me in the slightest--my impression is that the windows are quite well-insulated.  Most of all, the staff was incredibly warm and helpful. From the gentleman in the morning to the one who served me a drink at night (and asked if I wanted a plate/cutlery for my takeout) and the ladies attending to breakfast in the morning, the staff really impressed me. I was at a different hotel the 4 nights before, as my employer had booked it, but enjoyed this one much better + it was cheaper. Will request to stay here next time, amazing value for money.

While it wasn't a problem for us, having a step to get up into the shower without a grab bar might be challenging for some people.

The location really couldn't be better - out of the way enough that it was quiet at night, but walkable to many of the city's sites (or easily walkable to the train station for places farther away). The coffee/tea bar in the lobby was a nice bonus to come back to on cold days!

Staff were so lovely and attentive - they go beyond any expectations. Facility is amazing as well, very clean, super comfy rooms, amazing breakfast. Free coffee and very tasty water infused with mint and orange/lemon. The rooms with terrace is just one love! Highly recommend

The breakfast is overpriced, but there are bakeries and coffee shops within a short walk. The shower in our room was elevated about 4 or 5 inches above the floor level, which creates a danger of falling when you step out of the slippery shower onto a slippery wet floor. A safety handle near the shower door would be an inexpensive and worthy feature for the Metropole to install.

A short walk to the Munich main train station, the Metropole has a congenial and helpful staff, particularly Toby. The lobby has a bevy or orchids, and a coffee machine that's available all day. Our room was average size and very clean and well maintained. It's a family-run enterprise; the staff seem well-trained and cordial. We arrived in Munich midmorning from a transatlantic flight, and the Metropole gave us access to the room at around 11 a.m., which allowed us to get a nap before going into the city.

Good location near main train station, but still quiet. Nice walks to the old town and university neighborhoods. Front desk staff were notably pleasant and helpful. Rooms were not large, but were clean, comfortable and stylish. Breakfast was good.

Room cleaning is not on a daily basis. The shower did not have adequate protection, so water easily floods the whole bathroom floor.

Perfect location! Close to the train station for daily getaways and short walk from the city center. The room is very clean, spacious and well-furnished.
