Bed not so much comfortable

I stayed three nights and the room was never cleaned. Horrible smell in the guest kitchen, which is also pretty useless (no cooking utensils). DON'T buy drinks in the hostel, they are overpriced for no reason, there are small stores right in front and next to the hostel with regular prices.

Comfortable room, small but functional bathroom, super nice people working at the bar (e.g. the Pakistani guy).

Cleanliness, walls in rooms are really waiting to be painted. Room firstly wasn’t the same as it was on photos and in description (definitely smaller that promised 14 m2). Receptionist changed the room on our demand.

The breakfast could have been a bit better. Too much bread and almost no choice for protein-full options.

I have stayed in dormitory, where there was 6 beds. Think what I did not like was that one girl who stayed there was an alcoholic, she was drunk when she came and was drinking until 1 in the morning. All others were great, sometimes one person can make stay unpleasant just because they don’t respect others at all, I knew that it is hostel not a hotel, however I did not know that people who are drunk are allowed to stay there.

It was quite noisy, but thats to be expected from a hostel hotel in the center of berlin. We did have a knock on our door for a noise complaint however we were in bed watching a film quietly on an ipad so this was definitely not us. and the banging on the main doors to each floor was loud from about 6/7am.

Loved the location, the 24hr reception, rooms are small but we spent more time out of the hotel than inside so this was fine. I would definitely stay again.

I couldnt access the kitchen because my card was having some issue. Once I got in because someone open to me, I save my drinks and next day when I need to do my check out I was lock out the kitchen and since I was running I needed to left there and

The bathroom was very small, but it was fine for just a couple of nights. Didn't cause any great issues.

Stayed in a few a&o hostels on my Europe travels and can say you always know what to expect, the rooms always have a similar layout and furniture. The room here was clean and the beds were comfortable. Good location for sight seeing, 15min walk to the east side gallery of the Berlin wall and close to lots of train stations to get anywhere

i was satisfied with everything but roommates, for me was principal to have women only room but their friend was staying in our room for few hours and I wasn’t really comfortable with this but overall it’s great

security guard took our speaker and said we could get it back the next day we had it back only when we left the people from the hostel are not connected with security so they couldn’t help us it says towels are going with the price but when we arrived we had to buy them

They didnt have any place to put the luggage for 1.5 hours and asked me to rent paid lockers. Receptionist girl wasnt helpful at all. The bed was dirty, when i was putting the sheets I saw previous peoples food. The chargers next to the bed didnt work.

The bathroom was VERY small, and there was no water fountain in the property at all. We also had to request more towels and sheets during our stay.

Brilliant location and great value for money. the staff were very accommodating. Felt very safe our entire trip as well.

I've stayed there before, the new rooms for 4 people are not comfortable at all, there aren't carpets on the floor, couples sharing the same bed!

We were missing two towels, but after raising this when arriving around 9.30pm, were told there were no more left.

As this was a short stop before getting a train to Prague, it is ideally placed a short walk from the train station, and perfect with three of us being self contained in our own room. The a&o communal areas also make it easy to go down and have a quick drink or something to eat after arriving late.
