Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Well, not "don't like", but the hotel is within a commercial area, which is ideal for travellers passing through Bremen and want to use it as a motorway services hotel. There is nothing around the hotel but a service station, a restaurant (in the same brand-new complex) and some kind of Casino next door. If you want to shop, get into Bremen, etc., you must jump into your car and drive there. However, this is a trade-off, not a criticism.
A new, purpose-built hotel at the M1 motorway for travellers passing to or through Bremen. Very easy to reach from the motorway. The hotel is modern, nearly new and state-of-the-art. It is a budget offering, extremely clean, covers all the basics very well and had a really nice breakfast this morning.

Restaurant closed on Sunday evening but there was a McDonalds a few minutes walk away so I didn't go hungry. No kettle in room
Large comfortable room with huge bed. Clean, modern bathroom. Quiet location. Superb breakfast. Very handily situated near the autobahn. Plenty of car parking space

We missed the air conditioner due to unexpectedly With an open window it can be a noisy with road and railroad nearby.

I can't think of anything....
Straight off the autobahn. Very convenient for a quick stop. Breakfast had a great selection. Staff were very helpful. Parking for the motorbikes right infront of the hotel.

We needed a hotel which was near to the motorway as we were passing through on our way to Norway. The hotel was located out of town but near to a restaurant and petrol station which were excellent for us.

I would prefer it if the free parking was on a hotel-only lot, now it's just a big open free-for-all space. It feels a bit less secure this way.
Nice and quiet linking rooms (for our family), when closing the door the kids could actually sleep. The breakfast was very nice, everything you expected was available and good.

-No kettle in room. Coffee/tea only available from a vending machine (paid) in the reception. -Family of 4 had to stay in 2 separate double rooms (no connecting door). -No fridge. -Internet didn't work properly. -TV couldn't stream (Netflix etc.).
-Great breakfast. -Rooms were nice, comfy beds, good shower. -Very close to the motorway and placed right next to a petrol station which was extremely convenient for refuelling the next morning.

All tv in germany is dopped and not a lot of foreigners and children after a long day in a car can understand the TV.

The room was a bit too hot.
The room was clean and quiet. Very comfortable. The breakfast room was bright and comfortable. The staff were efficient and positive. The breakfast offered a great deal of choice and was fresh and enjoyable.

Quick layover, so I didn’t have the full experience. Didn’t have breakfast.
Nice rooms, good bathroom with fast running and hot water. Late free cancellation option gives great flexibility. Close to motorway so easy for a quick layover.
