The facilities in our rooms I feel should have included more customer consumables such as proper soap not liquid soap and hair shampoo rather than one small hand and body lotion.

I have stayed at this hotel many times before and always found it excellent. The staff know me and welcomed me and my friend warmly.

There is free parking but it's limited. It's too far to walk to the centre of Cochem where all the restaurants are and if you drive you risk losing your parking spot. There's a great restaurant in the Park Hotel which is witin walking distance.

It's a family hotel and you can tell they really care about the place. The breakfast is fabulous and the dinner was good too. Our room had a lovely balcony which we really enjoyed. There is no air conditioning but the room had great windows for a cross draft. The pool was indoor but was warm and a nice break at the end of a long day of sightseeing.

    Small pool. Some indifferent staff.

Reception very formal, however we witnessed ourselves and to other guests, the gentleman was not willing to hump cases for customers. There is a lift but steps leading to it. Small, comfortable room. Not a panoramic view unless you are allocated a room in the 'panoramic' front of the building. Good choice of continental style breakfast with sausages and cheese. Fruit: canned variety unless you peel it yourself. Peggy an exuberant and excellent waitress, always willing to try her English on you. Our waiter, Frank not so happy: we asked for extra salad as some had run out on the evening buffet, none was forthcoming at 7:45 - the restaurant is open until 9pm! The menu is standard German and meals are ok. Fair selection of local wines. The hotel is about a mile from the centre of Cochem, so perfectly good for a flat walk along the beautiful river Moselle, always withe the picturesque castle in view. Takes about in 20 minutes .

The hotelroom was not clean. The drain from both the sink and the shower was taken out and was just lying in the basin and shower. Toilet was not cleaned properly.

Nice big quiet and comfortable room. Very good food and lovely friendly staff. Good menu choices and superb breakfast with hot and cold choices, the best anywhere we have found in Europe. Big lounge to relax in with staff in attendance if needed. A truly excellent hotel

The hotel is a 10-15 minutes walk from the town centre of cochem, where you find most bars and restaurants. That said we didn't mind the little walk along the mosel in the evenings.

Great facilities and very friendly staff. Great for people that like walking and cycling as wonderful paths and routes around. Breakfast and dinner in restaurant was excellent too.

Parking was a bit of an issue as we arrived after 5pm and there was no parking available. The barman/receptionionist in the evening wasn't particularly helpful. Although in the morning it was the complete reverse so just one personality.

We checked in late, just made it to the restaurant but they didn't rush us. The meal was excellent, one, if not the best steak I have ever eaten. Cooked to perfection! We closed the restaurant! Sarah, our waitress, was superb! She is their biggest asset ! Located n the edge of town and although close to the road we didn't find it noisy. Some off street parking otherwise ample parking nearby. Pet and people friendly.

Nothing at all. Everything was superb.

We were greeted warmly and allocated a lovely, big room with a patio. The room was spotlessly clean and well appointed. Breakfast was superb and we would strongly recommend eating in the restaurant in the evening. There is a very nice lounge area and an outside terrace for drinks. The staff are very friendly and professional, and we felt very welcome. The pool and sauna facilities are great. It is a pleasant 15 minute walk along the Mosel into Cochem, which suited us because it is quite busy in the centre.
