Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomOutside seating area - dominated by smokers, but that seems to be the case in Germany unfortunately!
Great location, a short walk to the main part of Bremen - and a tram almost outside of the hotel. Clean hotel and nice staff. Also fantastic price!

GermanyShame that you have to pay for parking, but this seems to be increasingly the case at hotels in general.
The position of the hotel close to the town centre, the reliability of motel one. You know what to expect and the price is fair.

United KingdomLocation is great, around the corner from the river and not too far from the centre, also on the main bus routes. On the negative side there aren't many room facilities - no tea, coffee, kettle or fridge in the room. The doors are very stiff and strong, you need to be fit to open the room doors and as soon as you take your key card out of the holder, the lights go off, so you need to be quick. There is a clothes rack and shelving but no wardrobes.

United KingdomNo tea or coffee making facilities in the room! This might seem a little thing but I’ve not really ever come across this and very much enjoy a morning coffee. They had reusable coffee cups in the room but no coffee or kettle…

United KingdomThe breakfast lounge has an uncomfortable seating arrangement, with most of the tables and chairs being quite low. It can also get very crowded occasionally I.e., end of year 2024
Location: very good public transport connections and close to the city centre, restaurants, etc. Modern building.

Belgiumcheck-in was a bit cumbersome (we had two separate consecutive reservations - 1 night + 2 more nights - and the young lady did not know how to handle this). letting people enter the hotel's own car park although it is full, is annoying, it would also be appreciated if one could reserve a parking space the bar was a bit overcrowded (and there was not enough personnel), I should recommend to reserve the bar to hotel guests only at times when the hotel is fully booked (Motel One in Aachen does this)
nice room, all clean, very nice + cosy bar/lobby

United StatesThe beds are generally too soft and the pillows are too high. The drain in the shower is located directly where one stands, which means one stands on uneven surfaces all around and/or partially on the drain cover, which is slippery.
Location in the city is good. The lobby is inviting, and the hallways are quiet. The staff is friendly and competent.

RomaniaThe hotel has no space for unloading the luggage. You have to stop the car on the street blocking a lane. Reception not helpful. I was waiting in front of the parking door at the hotel (asked specifically in the booking form for parking lot), the entrance light was green, I saw through the bars that there were 2 free lots, but the receptionist said I should go to a remote parking.
Location close to the centre. Rooms ok for the price.
