Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

GermanyThe bathroom has 2sqmtrs. The toilet is almost under the sink. If you want to sit on the toilet it's cery difficult. You havs to twist your body. There is no grip to leave the shower safely. And the floor in the bathroom is dangerous slippery. Before booking that hotel there must be an advice from the premise that this location is not suitable for elder people.
Location is 300m from the train station "Bieber", not in the center of Offenbach. The rate of 44€ for a single (without breakfast) and the friendlyness of the staff are the plusses.

GermanyMy room was with a look at the main street and it was very noisy because of the cars. Also, the walls are very thin and I could hear everything in the other rooms and corridors. Hard to sleep if there are other guests.
Spotless, friendly staff, good location with many restaurants and shops around. I rented it during a big event in Frankfurt and traveling by car to the Deutsche bank Park was good.

Czech RepublicOn booking is written reception is open until 22 and check-in between 22:00 - 22:30 costs 60 euro. I was in a traffic jam and while check-in I heard a lot of times, that receptionist wait only for me from 8 PM. Who cares? Reception has to be open until 22, and when I come late I have to pay more... so that is not fair. If you want to take a shower with the shower mounted on the wall, it will keep falling and it is almost impossible because there are no screws to attach it. Since I travel in Germany, I use an external battery to run the fridge in the car. While charging the fridge for my next trip, the cleaning lady pulled the charger out of the socket during my stay, so the battery didn't fully charge. This was the first accommodation to do this. The external battery uses less power than if I had been in the accommodation watching TV for half a day. Sleeping with the window open is not a good idea here, between 5-6 hours you will be woken up by the road. But I counted on this from previous reviews, so I don't take it as an unexpected experience. Reviews are meant to rate the accommodation objectively and fairly. I would welcome the phrase, "We would be happy if you would give us a positive review".
The parking near the hotel was free but from 17 - 8 (not sure about the start time). The restaurant under accommodation, but... noisy voices come from the restaurant :/

GermanyThe room was clean like a separate bathroom too, but small, almost like a prison cell. No Air Condition. I was sweating the whole night and if you open the window, there is a main road at the hotel with cars making a noise near so that it was hard to get some sleep. The rooms are directly above an italian restaurant and a restaurant garden where the guests sit, and loudly enjoy themselves. Parking place is directly at the hotel, but you must be pretty lucky to find a parking lot.
The receptionist woman was very kind and friendly.
