Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe site is currently undergoing a major refurbishment and if you want a lie in you won’t get one at this hotel, the concrete was being dug up and the noise and vibrations were felt through the entire hotel. The parking is a nightmare to find even with the little map they give you, the workmen had both sets of lights set on red so you sit waiting until they say you can move. The staircase is grubby and dirty and is an area that still requires additional refurbishment, the pillows are awful and the cleaners were banging on the door at 8am trying to gain access to clean the room. So much could be improved and i’d advise the owners to concentrate on the little things and visit your snag this place yourself. The staircase steps and walls for example. The car park situation and the noise and vibration before 10am is ridiculous. Site claims a 4 star but truth be told this place is a 3 star with a lick of paint in keys visual areas. They have spent money but in areas known as focal points.
As a hotel refurbisher in the UK there are some good and bad things to say ref this hotel. Great choice for breakfast both hot & cold offerings, this hotel has had a recent refurbishment and the rooms have been renovated to a decent standard (except the chairs are very old and aren’t in keeping with the new look and make it glaringly obvious that they were kept purely to save money.) The location is a good 25 minute walk back from the Old town center but we saw this as a positive as it’s helps walk off the evening meal.

United KingdomThe underground parking was convenient although a little tricky to manouver around, but unfortunately the there was no EV charging available, which was a real surprise.
The staff were a little austeer face to face (perhaps just a professional), although very helpful by email in advance in helping us find a local vet to administer treatment required to get our dog back into the UK. The room was big enough and bed very comfortable. No noise issues, so a good night's sleep. The location is excellent, next to a lovely park and only a short walk to the historic centre of the city. Chose not to pay extra for the breakfast as there are many great cafe/bakeries to try nearby and had no regrets.

Breakfast was lovely. Staff were friendly. Room was big, comfortable and clean. There is a door tag where you can notify the cleaners that they don't have to clean the rooms or change the laundry on a particular day which i appreciated as eco friendly. I was in the double room so i already had a second set of towels. They always replenished the 1L water bottle and there was a coffee/tea station in the lobby for any time of the day. The room had a lovely view of the lake over the road. It was close to trains/trams.

Netherlands1. Parking issues. Which were not announced on the website during booking. Would have made it easier if I'd had know about it previously. Now we had to drive to 2 wrong parkingsites, had to go in the hotel to ask where I could park my car. Then back to my car and try to find my way in the chaos surrounding the building. And all this during rush-hour. 2. Hotel surroundings looked like a construction site. Also not mensioned on their website. Would have been polite and again better instructions upfront would have been required and appreciated. 3. Long waiting at the desk, with only one clerk available. Only 1 clerk and a waiting que at the frontdesk. With guests that took a lot of time, asking a lot of questions, while people where waiting, waiting and waiting..... And a clerk that didn't think it would be apropriate to call in for some back-up.
Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was very good.

CanadaShowers more or less in the bedroom separated with only a glass wall. So if you don’t know your travel buddy well, might be a bit awkward;)
Located by the lake at a main intersection. 25 min walk from old town, which we liked to walk, but bus also next to hotel. Amazing breakfast, it’s true :) Very friendly staff.

TurkeyOn the whole though, things should be better: this business hotel is almost excellent in many ways. As examples: (1) The shower is powerful, however the height is not adjustable. The shower floor is completely non-slip but the walls are glass, facing into the room. (2) The curtains are made of a blackout fabric, which is great, however, the way they have been mounted is such that light comes through the top along the whole of the windows, spanning the width of an entire wall). (3) The ever-ready coffee in the lobby is considerate (and needed given the location of the hotel), however, the quality is not good at all and it comes in flasks. It would be better to grant access to the breakfast-area coffee machines or have a similar one installed as I have seen in other hotels.
Very professional and helpful staff. Good breakfast. The room was clean, large and well appointed with adequate seating, tables, cupboards, and luggage rack. The door closed with a reasonably quiet click instead of a bang. Quiet for a good night's sleep... at least in the rooms facing the inner courtyard. The hotel is located amongst office buildings, but within steps of the tram, bus and S-bahn, so very convenient for sightseeing/shopping.
