Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The mattress could be a little softer, but other than that, everything was perfect.
The service was outstanding. Very friendly staff at the reception and also at the hotel restaurant. The food was great and the cocktails were absolutely delicious!

Very crowded for breakfast. No coffee and tea in the room. The environment of the hotel is not interesting. From our room we looked straight into a dental practice across the street. The children found this entertainment. Beds were not so comfortable and pillow extremely soft but I bring my own pillow so this was no problem for me.
Breakfast was plentiful. Friendly staff showed us 2 rooms to choose where extra bed would fit the best. Free bottle of water in the room. Good family room connecting. Diner was good and very large portions. They found us a place to sit for breakfast even though crowded. Very good free parking very easy. Will gladly stop again for a night on the way back.

Nothing to dislike.
I appreciated the breakfast, the location (3 min walk to the metro station) and the room (although a little bit small, it was comfortable and warm). Staff was nice and smiling. We also had dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was very good. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Nothing, major really . Maybe ..if you are looking for an attractive neighbourhood, or want a nice view from the window , you can not find them there. Grab a metro 🚇 - all the main attractions are roughly. 20 minutes away
Package value (room size, free parking , splendid breakfast) vs. price ratio excellent. Well connected with a city centre - metro station is 2 minutes away , and a highway.

name is somehow misleading... so we arrive to another hotel with similar name but this was our fault rather than a minus...
very well placed hotel - near metro station Gustav-Adolf-Str. - Nürnberg. Thus we got really fast to Weihnachtsmarkt Hotel is in such way built that rooms are not all in a row sow they are well phonic insulated. Also rooms are quite large and beautiful.

The bed was too hard for my testing.
Really nice little hotel, well maintained. Nice and friendly employees from the reception to the buffet and also the cleaning! Clean room. Big plus for the breakfast: delicious and full of regional food! The hotel is well located, two minutes from the ubahn with a few stops to the City Center. Free parking . They also have a little sauna, really nice in winter time !

Amazing staff! We forgot an item in the room and they sent it back to us paying the delivery costs. Well located with the metro close by. You can even rent a bike for 5€ per day and reach the city center in 15min biking. Plenty of options to choose for breakfast. Thanks a lot!

The hotel is in a good location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is very spacious, cleanliness at an enviable level. A varied breakfast with something for everyone. Large parking lot. I recommend.
