The lady at the reception in the morning wasn't friendly at all. She refused to talk to us when we addressed her in English. She didn't ask other personnel to help though they could speak English. There's no parking at the hotel. We had to park at a paid parking outside.

They have a very nice restaurant and the location of the hotel is right opposite the Termen.

Good service but more staff would be better. Hotel restaurant and bar closed on Tuesdays.

No croissants for breakfast but a very extensive buffet breakfast. Coffee served at the table. You don't have to queue behind a coffee machine :-)

there is some reconstruction work ongoing in the small park outside which did visually distant a bit.

The bar and restaurant were not open, myself and a group of friends would have liked to dine and have a drink after a long day on the road

The open parking lot is 300-500m from the hotel, and costs €3 per day with the hotel discount. The parking garage located near the hotel costs €7 for 24-hours, but if you plan to use your car during the day, you may be charged more than that if it is by the hour. This is not the fault of the hotel, of course, but beware that the cheaper alternative is quite along ways away if you have luggage or mobility issues.

We got an excellent deal on the room including breakfast with a nice outside terrace.

Not enough space to open suitcase other than on bed. Couldn't even open small closet door because of cramped space. Lady at reception that didn't speak English seemed perturbed to have guests that didn't speak German fluently. Did not feel welcome in this place. Lack hospitality courtesy.

Restaurant was nice; very good breakfast. Dinner was not a very pleasant experience - they brought wrong dish, meat was tough and calculations from register were inaccurate on bill. Waiter reimbursed us for difference. Cleaning lady was very friendly and made us feel welcome.

It was my first time when I found at the reception a person that doesn't speak english... in Germany !?!... The rooms are very small, from a large room were made two small rooms with a locked door between them.

Spa has nothing to do with pictures on their site ; breakfast choice are poor, the hotel in front is much better and demonstrates its superiority to poor inhabitants of Parkhotel ... we had impression it used to be a retreat house for the old people as rooms Réminded much hospital and lacked simplest facilities. Overall with proper investment in renovating it has good potential ! Be careful : parking is very far and payable . For such a secluded place in th country it is unspeakable to charge guests for that ..

Well located close to thermal complex , helpful staff

We did not stay in the Parkhotel but another building opposite of it. Was not clear when it was booked. Not the most modern interior and could use an makeover. No reception present. Parking was limited but also caused by road work. Breakfast was in the Parkhotel so you had to walk to the other hotel.

We did not stay in the Parkhotel but another location opposite of the street! Good and quiet location. Room was big and clean. Bed was good as was the bathroom. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Bar (Parkhotel) with space to sit and relax.

The room was old and tired, the bed totally uncomfortable and totally overpriced. Breakfast was below average so overall poor value for money!

The service was acceptable but not great!

Personnel so so, when we came to check-in at 18:30 (offical working hours till 20:00), nobody was in Reception. I came to the Restaurant and the waiter said "I'm coming", but nothing happened in the next 10 min.

Normal hotel, considering the price, the rooms in the 1st floor partly renovated to compare with ones in the 2nd floor. Excelent place with nice park just near hotel, Vulkaneifel Therme just 100 m away as well as the main pedestrian street.

A young male member of staff couldnt /wouldnt help with my wifi connection. It turned out that the reference number had been printed in error. I had no internet to plan my first day.

A very nice stay at reasonable prices. Beautiful location . Bikes were free although the man on reception told me they were 7 euros.

    - No refrigerator in the room. - No personal safe in the room. - The toilet is in a (too) narrow corner of the bathroom - WIFI is slow - No parking space near the hotel. Parking space walking distance is 7 euro/day. Other side of the town is 3 euro/day. - No staff after 22.00

    - The location - The staff - The ambiance - The town - Peaceful, quiet and stress free - Clean room

Wifi was a little jumpy particularly on the terrace. Still Wifi is always a weak point and this was not worse than any other hotel where we have been. Breakfast could be a little more elaborated, but it was fair.

Everything was comfortable and fair. We definitely disagree with the negative comments from other customers. We COULD pay with card.

The whole town has a feeling of rip off tourist trap. And the hotel even worse. Advertises itself as dog friendly. Is not. Charges extra 10€ extra for dog which has to be paid in cash. No receipt. Can't take the dog into the bar or breakfast room. No bathrobes as advertised. Espresso or cappuccino with your breakfast costs extra. No place to park your car in the hotel in a town which does not have any public parking spaces in the center. Lift did not work. Stay away from this place!
