We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

GreeceThe WiFi signal was very poor in our room and we had to use hotspot from my phone to the baby's tablet for his favourite videos. But nothing to complain about; all other areas of the hotel had a very good WiFi reception.
Excellent breakfast and the rooms were big, comfortable and quiet! All staff were very helpful and friendly. Bedsheets and towels were chagened regularly! Overall it was a nice and relaxing experience!

United StatesBreakfasts were expensive, so we ate cheese and bread in the room instead. Road work blocked easy access, but that wasn’t the hotel’s fault. Beds were a bit hard. No screens on windows, so on a warm day with windows open, mosquitoes come in.
Beautiful location with forest around. Free parking. Helpful and responsive staff. Near the tram stop into town. Spacious rooms. Nice showers with good stream. Two sinks in the bathroom.

AustraliaWe were planning to eat at the Hotel, we each ordered drinks while we looked at the menu, the drinks didn't turn up, the menu was very limited so we decided to go out for the evening. The staff work very hard, probably not enough staff there at that time.
The hotel was on the outskirts of the city, it was in the perfect location for us with plenty of parking available. It was a short walk to a really good restaurant and brewery. The staff were extremely helpful. The tram service into the city was close by although we didn't use it.
