A little outdated, wifi wasn't reliable

The breakfast can be improved. There were no eggs left when we arrived. The bed is shaky and old. The base of the bed falls if you sit hard. Need to be careful when you sit. The mattress and bed linens were good. Obviously there is a lot of train noise to be expected since its located close to the tracks. However, it is not a problem for us. We like the sound of train :D

The staff is very helpful and kind. She received us and provided the guest cards when we arrived. There is a free parking available but limited spots. Toilet is renovated and good. Located decently close to public transport.

Because the property is situated next to a railway the trains were very loud and woke us up early in the morning.

The hostess was very nice. She gave us free bus tickets. The location of the property was good, near the train-/busstation and some supermarkets.

I read a few poor reviews about this hotel but I was actually pleasantly surprised as the hostess was friendly and the breakfast buffet was generous with plenty of variety. The room was small and nothing fancy, but the beds were comfortable. The trains only started up at 6:30am so we got enough sleep - also with the windows closed this reduced the noise significantly. Very easy 5min walk along the river to the train station and bus stop.

The Wi-Fi signal was poor in the second floor rooms. I had to sit on the stairs to the first floor to connect to the internet. Located on the edge of town, so it was a considerable walk to the old town and restaurants. Reception desk was rarely manned so it was always difficult to locate someone to talk to.

Nearby parking was convenient. Breakfast was enjoyable with a good range to choose from.

The drawback was that it is close to a highway and train tracks so there is some noise from them.

This was a wonderful guest house, conveniently located for walking into Berchtesgaden and catching a bus to nearby towns or to the mountains. The breakfast was very generous, including fresh pastries, and a coffee machine, which also had hot chocolate available.

Unfortunatelly, the room was not properly cleaned, especially the bathroom, where were a lot of hair on the floor and on the walls in the shower stall, but after reporting this to the hostess all was cleaned. But overall the room should be cleaner and cleaned regularly. The guesthouse is situated directly next to the train tracks, which may bother someone, but it was not a problem for us :)

Very friendly and helpful hostess, good location - close to the city center, train station and shops. Additionally we got free tickets for short distance buses, what was very convenient. We were accommodated in a large room. Free parking nearby. Simply, but tasty breakfasts.

There are A LOT of stairs. If you have heavy bags, be sure you can carry them up several staircases. The nearby hotels all have a break from 11am-2pm (2pm is check-in). If you are trying to store your bags you may have to work around this time. For us it was a difficulty, but we were lucky that the owner returned early.

The breakfast was lovely with lots of options (didn't find regular, black tea). The staff was friendly. Had a family-run, down to earth feel. The room was very comfortable- beds and bath with balcony. We were able to check in early and store our bags in our room.

No wifi, no TV., no staff on duty after 6 pm, unable to join anyone after this, emergency phone number rings on the premises when staff is absent. Not enough parking spaces for everyone.

Not sure why, but the accoms took quite long to get back to me on my queries a few months before my stay, so I got quite worried. They started replying to my queries about one month before my stay. To note, the room has no air con but it was ok for us as it was the start of summer so the weather was still quite cool. The kettle was quite dated so might be good to change it.

The family room was quite big with a living area, master room and a room with two single beds. The place was quite clean and had a balcony with a view. The lady staff was also very friendly and accommodating to allow us to leave our luggage before and after check-in, and started breakfast early for us when we said we needed to check out early. Breakfast was included and had a decent selection.

Upon arrival, we found that the hotel was only tracking one room for our party, while we had reserved 2 on Booking.com . When shown the Booking reservation, Two rooms were provided, but this resulted in another group that arrived later having to go to an alternate hotel. Upon check out, there was some confusion about cost for the two rooms, with the price requested by the hotel being about a hundred euro more than quoted by Booking. When shown the Booking confirmation, the Booking price was honored.

Property sat on outskirts of town, but easy walk to train station and restaurants. There was a nice breeze in the room and parking was convenient.

Did not expect the hotel only accept cash for payment, this information wasn't disclose in the Booking.com nor informed me in a message beforehand. We have to made extra trip to get cash on the check out morning. Hotel is next to the railroad, was noisy when the train pass by.

About 10 minutes walking distance from the train station. good breakfast. guest card for free bus ride.
