Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SwedenThe entrance is a bit dodgy. Close to the central station so that was expected, but I knew that and for me it was crucial that I was close to the train station since I had a morning train the next day.
It was a compact single quiet room with a modern standard. Bathroom perfect and bed large and comfortable. The room was a bit cold when I arrived but there was a heater that I could turn on and then it was fine.

AustraliaThe room had a smell like a wet dog, or old dog wee. It was manageable for 1 night, but it was also noticeable. Carpet floors in a small room hotel that accepts pets might not be the best choice, maybe change out to hard floors to remove the smell.
Great for an overnight transit stop. Romm was a bit small for 3 people, but manageable for a short stay. Very close to the train station.

DenmarkDespite soundproofing, I did hear loud music from somewhere outside nearby. I didn’t complain because it was in a place one could expect noise late at night. Another time I will consider packing ear plugs to assure a quiet sleep (I had to sleep early and get up early). However, I did fall asleep quickly despite being noise sensitive and had a good night’s rest anyway, so all was good. I mention this for anyone who is sensitive to noise. I would still return here another time, but with ear plugs just in case.
The location was perfect and practical for my trip travelling through Hamburg by train. I valued the cleanliness.
