Our room in the old part of hotel was very big, well furnished in traditional style, comfortable bed, good view of the market street, good bathroom.

Unfortunately, the hotel equipped the room with incredibly insipid lights. Unable to watch German TV, we usually read at night, and found the room depressing to try to read, to the point that we considered taking a chair into the well-lit bathroom. We eked out an adequate evening; my wife put both bedside lamps next to the couch, i commandeered a floor lamp from the first floor and combined it with the desk lamp, Mr Hotel Owner, LED bulbs hardly use any power; you are gaining nothing by leaving your charming room under-lit.
Our room was charming, with old furniture, and delightfully large.

The hotel location was close to shopping, restaurants, and the bus station. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were helpful. Seating was available in front of the hotel for meals and snacks. The room was quiet and spacious.

Hotel restaurant (and breakfast) were quite meh. Not bad, just meh, at least compared to the my typical experience in Germany,.
The location couldn't be better in this town, and it has a very sweet rustic feel. Outdoors parking behind the hotel very handy, although directions were a bit confusing. A EV charging spot exists within a moderate walking distance.

Building with character. Staff were very friendly. We even forgot something small, so we kept in contact and they posted it to us. Rooms were big. Facilities were clean. Location is great.

Fantastic location, direct on the famous Marktstrasse in the old town centre. Clean comfortable rooms, very good breakfast, easy free parking provided in a public car park just a few steps away. The hotel had good Covid measures in place for guest protection, including being served from the breakfast buffet by a member of staff. Reception staff were cheerful and efficient.
