Comfortable and clean. Very nice reception staff and let us check in around 1pm which was great as we arrived around 9:30am so we had a little walk around the area and after coming back we really needed a rest .

The shower had a glass door that only covered half of the shower area, so water got all over the bathroom floor.

Location is not the best, but it is to be expected considering much lower prices for the rooms! Just take into account that might take 30-40 minutes to get to the city center.

Very big and spacey rooms, we were pleasantly surprised! The bathroom is great as well. The noise isolation is alright, we haven't heard much! Overall very good!

Maybe you could add some extra signs that leads guests to the correct part of the garage. On the bottom floor there are 2 parts, one part for people living in appartments and one for hotel guests (which is at the end).

We've booked this hotel because we went to visit the Christmas markets in Köln in december 2024. This is a good hotel for a good price with friendly staff. The beds were also good and very large! Also the breakfast was good.

The beds could have been a bit softer, the mattresses were pretty hard throughout my first night. But you get used to it quickly.

The PLAZA Premium is a great hotel if you're looking to spend time in Cologne. There's grocery stores, loads of restaurants and some concert / event venues nearby, as well as a tram station from which you can quickly reach most parts of the city. Though it's located on a busier road, I didn't hear any of the traffic in my room at all. The room and bathroom were very clean and pretty. The staff provided everything I needed for my stay and more, from tea to coffee and toiletries. For a quick check in and check out, you can do it all online, which made things a lot more comfortable. The rooms also come with A/C and heating which you can change to the temperature you prefer digitally. The WIFI was really good and consistent all throughout the building.

The thermostate didn't work so the room was a little bit cooler than I was used to at home (around 18 degrees)

The single bed in the triple room was more like a pull out bed and the mattress was so thin I could feel the bed slats. I wasn’t comfortable at all and any time I moved (which was frequently) the bed squeaked very loud waking everyone else in the room too. I asked for another mattress the very next morning but was told they unfortunately didn’t have any spare. I asked later that day if I could have another duvet and they were able to give me one from an unoccupied room which I was grateful for. Although still uncomfortable it was slightly better. I feel lucky that we were only staying a couple of days because I don’t think my back wouldn’t have been able to cope with many more nights. There’s definitely enough room for a normal single bed or just a better duvet would suffice

The staff were not friendly and we waited at reception for a few minutes before any of the four staff members behind reception even looked up to greet us. They seemed panicked as if they were dealing with a catastrophe. Then each time we went to reception (to have the car park ticket validated) the response was not of an acceptable standard. The staff members clearing up at breakfast did not smile and did not seem happy to be there. The culture of the hotel staff appeared to be miserable.
