Due to construction work next to the hotel, there was a disturbing noice - starting at 06.30 AM.

Breakfast was very good. Excellent with free water bottles. The room was nice and clean. Nice personal. Good with free parking in the yard.

There was nothing we didn’t like, however the next door construction work could be annoying to some guests due to the loud noises. Completely out of the control of the hotel owners, and that’s construction and progress for you, but just wanted to say that if you wish to stay around Sept 25 onwards be prepared and bring ear plugs :) or perhaps the hotel could offer these during this construction time?

A great location for us in Cologne with parking behind. Comfy rooms with a basic breakfast and easy late check in that we appreciated. Thanks for the continuous bottled water. It’s great that they accept dogs, although the €15 euro extra per night is steep and put the cost higher than nearby apartments which would have had a bit more space. The lift is a plus when on upper floors, saves carrying baggage up. It’s a clean, great base in this part of Cologne, and was ideal for our trip. Breakfast was simple (we’re not big breakfast eaters) and as vegans we could eat bread with jam and a piece of fruit. Owner was communicate via booking.com and text message for smooth check in. I’d recommend as a base and stop over for my clients when visiting this part of Cologne!

Mostly lacking in certain facilities in the room. No airconditioning, even with a ventilator, it was still guite hot. No fridge in the room to cool your food and drinks. The shower curtain did not work at all, so it was always a water park in the shower. Also, I found the breakfast lacking, missed some warm dishes for breakfast, such as sausages and omelets. Does not have to be much but some variety in my opinion, more fruits would have been great.

Noisy building site next door - not the fault of the hotel. The neighbourhood is scruffy and quite a distance from the city centre. However there is a great family Turkish restaurant opposite - recommend highly. All in all, the hotel cold do with facelift, but it's basic and adequate.

Staff and owners were really friendly and helpful. Everything was really clean and the bed was comfortable with good quality linen. There's onsite and on street parking. Good basic hotel.

The location. It’s about a 10 minute walk from the subway station so it is definitely tiring to be dragging my luggage to the hotel. It is advised to take an uber to there if you’re travelling with elderly or young kids with luggages.

Breakfast was provided and it was quite basic which I’m okay with (do take note that it’s a non-halal breakfast so if you’re particular you can’t eat the meat). The staff members were very friendly. The hotel also provides free flow of still/sparkling water bottles which was nice. The room that i got was beside the road but thankfully it was quiet when i stayed for the night. The area itself was peaceful and nice.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast very good and location was easy to get to the center of Cologne. The bedroom was cozy and comfortable. They have a parking for free right behind the hotel which is pretty handy for people with their car or rentals.

Hotel advertised as having 2 restaurants. Nothing was open on Sunday or Monday evenings when we arrived after a 12 hour car journey! We then had to walk 3 kilometres to find an evening meal. If you want a meal in the evening, check with the hotel before booking!! Booking.com also also needs to update their ads as this is happening too often, especially in Germany!

Dog bowl and treats left in the room for our 4-legged friend. Very helpful staff in the breakfast room.
