Nothing its the best. Some people online seem to complain they cant watch the tv comfortably during their stay there. But if you go there to watch tv, then that is one of the most silly things to do.

It was a very comfy, spacious room. The room and hallways have great art which makes you want to walk around and check out. The breakfeast was nice and the breakfeast location is at very beautiful winter garden where you can see the surrounding mountains. The swimming pool and portion of the spa area is also another winter garden where people can relax and enjoy the great view which is especially awesome with the snow. They also have a very nice infrared cabin. To top it all they have very professional people working there that go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Its one of the best hotel experience in europe for me.

We really liked the hotel overall but it was also very expensive, much more than we would ever be willing to pay outside of a ski resort. For the most part, they offer amenities that match the price, such as a great breakfast, spa area and a complimentary snack in the evenings. One thing we found a little off-putting is the odd and inconsistent charging policy. Between 6 and 8 pm, the hotel offered a free snack for guests in the winter garden, consisting of some bread, cheese and charcuterie. Very nice. One evening, we got some hot water from the coffee machine that is in the same area to make some tea, to later find that we had been charged approximately 5 euros for the tea. In hindsight, we do remember being told at check-in that the machine is available for free until 5 pm. However, it is a little strange to me that the same tea was actually offered for free in other parts of the hotel, i.e. the spa area, and at other times in the same area. I think the hotel should rethink this inconsistent and confusing policy. This was obviously not enough to ruin the stay for us, but it did feel petty to be charged this much for some hot water considering how pricey the whole visit was.

In terms of the room and wellness facilities, the hotel exceeded our expectations. We had a lovely room on the top floor of the main building with a balcony and a view of the Zugspitze. I believe we lucked out in that respect. The room was fairly spacious with a little sitting area and the bathroom was nice and looked recently renovated. It felt quite high end. On this website, the hotel really undersells their wellness facilities! The pool is very nice and the sauna area is among the best I've seen at a hotel, with several different types of saunas and a great steam room. It's all very pretty, clean and well maintained. The whirlpool was only nice in theory, as it was not very warm. The breakfast was very nice as well.

The shower at the spa had changing temperature, sometimes it took ages to get warm water. The whirlpool was broken the last day. The room looked generally clean, however it had some dust, probably in the curtains or the bed. We were sneezing a lot whenever in the room and in the morning the nose was stuck. The staff was behaving correctly but the overall attitude was far from being warm, friendly or welcoming. E.g. at the check-out no-one asked how our stay (4 nights) had been. They had zero interest in improving services. The location is also not cosy, since it's close to the big road. I would not recommend this hotel.

The bed was a bit hard and I had to shift around a lot. It was hot and no air conditioning. My first night a huge mosquito came in room and it was very challenging to get rid of him.

The location was exceptional. Very near the bahnhof and easy to get around Garmisch. The hotel has all these somewhat hidden luxuries which they should promote more. I didn't know about the nice garden behind the restaurant and that there was a hot pool next to the pool. The bathroom was SPECTACULAR in my room. The service people were great at the front desk - provided tourist pass and helped me book day trip to Zugspitze and Eibsee.

was fairly hot inside the room and there was no way to make air flow better even with the window/door open. Parking was a bit confusing with cars parked in wrong spots and also it is cumbersome to have to wait them to open the door that access the garage from the building everytime. It could be an easy fix.

location is amazing, views were superb, room was big and the view to the mountains was gorgeous. Breaksfast was very good as well. it is located very close to the river and for thos ewho like jogging/running, there is a path alongside the river that goes up to the Gorge, which is great.

Some wellness facilities was not working like jacuzzi, steam bath. Pool temperature was also not maintained, it was bit cooler for this weather.

Underground parking was tight, even with a smaller vehicle, can't imagine how it would be if all the spots were full as limited room to maneuver.

Room was spacious, we had a sitting room which was a nice extra space. Breakfast was really good - made to order omelets on top of what was already on the buffet. Lovely old building with some unique decor made it a really interesting place to stay. Staff were fantastic, from the front desk to the bar and the breakfast host. View from our room out the back of the hotel was amazing - mountain view.

basic facilities like electric kettle, fridge was missing in the room which usually provided by the hotel with such prices. I bought tickets from the hotel reception but at the end found that they sold me expensive ticket which didn’t fit into my itinerary. (my mistake that I trusted staff)
