Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsThe kitchen would've been perfect with some wooden/plastic spatulas (There was only metal) and a microwave. The main light in the main room was a bit dim.
There was a proper kitchen, with pans, toaster, coffee machine, oven and basic cutlery. De shower is big enough, the bed was comfy. There was plenty of storage capacity for all times of products and clothing. The windows opened, the lights were fancy and the sun block methods worked really well. Customer services were available and helpful, and fluent enough in English.

PortugalArrived before 3pm but weren’t allowed to check in until after 4. I suspect they were simply short staffed that day, but no explanation was offered for the delay
Pretty cozy little apartment, with a surprisingly well-equipped kitchenette Very convenient location just steps from the train station, but on a quiet street

United KingdomUnfortunately the location near the main train station and large green space is packed with drug addicts and homeless people, so the short walk to the city centre is interesting.

NetherlandsThe couch sleeperbed was a bit hard. A dark curtain in that room would have been nice. But we slept well.
A nice building, very quiet. The breakfast was amazing. The double bed was very comfortable. Staff was very friendly.

NetherlandsThe hotel is near to the train station and sometimes you can hear the trains quite clearly. Also the area of the hotel is very nice but to get to some restaurants and the city centre you need to walk past the train station were we noticed quite a few junkies which made us feel not so safe to pass there in the evenings.
The rooms are very spacious and although a bit old everything is clean and functions just fine.

United KingdomThe room was large and quiet, ours was on the first floor. The train station is very nearby but you can barely hear the trains - super quiet for a good nights sleep. Friendly check in - quick and efficient and the breakfast is plentiful and good quality. The hotel is in a very quiet residential street and the neighbourhood has a lovely feel. Bürgerpark Bremen is a 5 minute walk away from the hotel and to reach the historic centre of Bremen you just need to walk through the station and onwards for again about 5 minutes so super central. I would highly recommend.

NetherlandsBecause of the hot weather, we had the windows open. There was quite a bit of noise from the station unfortunately. The kitchen could be slightly better stocked: a few extra pans are needed. The vent hood above the stove could use a cleaning.
The apartment is spacious enough, nice location, bed is big, not a sound to hear from other apartments. And lovely staff! We also made use of the private parking space, which was affordable at ten Euro's a day.

SwedenSofa bed was uncomfortable. Two narrow mattresses with an annoying divide between them. You could at least put an extra layer on top of those. Poorly equipped kitchen. It wouldn't cost much to buy a few extra pots and tools. Parking is extremely tight (SUVs have to fold mirrors and it's still risky).
Great central location. Good value, friendly staff that made sure we get in safely.

United KingdomUnderstandably for the environment room cleaning is "on request" by popping a small card in a box before 8am for the following day. We only had one clean in four days but did run out of shower gel which obviously hadn't been checked. As reception isn't manned 24/7 supplies like this could do with being checked to ensure adequate for stay.
This hotel is ideally located for exploring the city centre. It is located just a few minutes from the main station but still on a quiet street. The area is also very well served with trams (one directly to the airport) and buses. We particularly enjoyed a lovely, varied breakfast. Standard rooms are smallish but perfectly clean and well equipped.

RussiaBed stuff was unfortunately not as good. Bed itself was too soft (indeed ones love this) and blankets were too small even for one person.
Hey there, That was just a wonderful stay. The hotel's location is super as it is just 5 min walking of the central bus and train station and just 10 min walking of the historical city center, but out of the noisy and touristic areas. Breakfasts were very good and the service staff is totally friendly. The idea of the self-service lobby bar is absolutely cool.
