We booked a balcony room and were allocated room #26, unfortunately this was located on the side with no view, understand we only stopped 1 night so the better balcony rooms located overlooking the pool and terrace were probably allocated to guests staying longer, however wouldn't pay the extra if I had known.

Enjoyed a lovely meal in restaurant, very good value and plenty of choice - just as well, as due to remote location there did not appear to be any alternative within walking distance. Very friendly staff, all spoke good English & a welcome free beer on arrival. Lovely comfy room, bed & bedding. Nice shady terrace with great views to enjoy food and drinks

the swimming pool was not big enough to properly swim in, parking was sometimes difficult, there was an overflow car park but it was away from the hotel.

the food was excellent both for breakfast and in the restaurant, the sauna was very good, the staff were very friendly and helpful

A perfect location for a hiking holiday. The hotel provides lots of brochures and maps for local walks graded by difficulty and time. The walks themselves are well-signed and the scenery is gorgeous. Really comfortable bed. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff The food was really enjoyable
