Stairs and no lift. Parking space was safe but far away (200m) - too far to carry luggage - and after dropping off luggage there is a maze of one way streets to get to the underground parking lot.

The restaurant and bar downstairs. Very friendly staff.

    No fridge in the room.

Very nice and spacious room, kind and helpful staff. The breakfast was not included, but it was well worth the extra money. The hotel is about halfway between the Old Town and the train station, which makes it good for short trips. For longer stays you may want to look for something closer to the center (but that's usually way more expensive).

Nothing, no complaints at all, well would have liked breakfast but felt 8 € per person was too dear for us on a budget!

Excellent location, quiet but near to downtown. Friendly staff, large spacious room.

I got a parking ticket in the area. Please ask the Hotel and they can sell a parking pass.

It's a charming older hotel and location. Cool salon downstairs. The rooms are unimpressive, but for the price it's perfect.

Would have helped to have a sheet with directions to the car park when we arrived. They can place it on their website.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and nice room. All worked. Good breakfast. Car park near by and secure. Bus and tram connections near by.

The breakfast was mediocre at best. We thought it was included (my mis-reading of the booking). If I had known, I would not have paid for it - would have gone out. For anyone elderly or with injuries beware - a lot of stairs and no lift! The hotel is not particularly close to the old town - 20 mins walk.

The room is very simple, comfortable but frill-free. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Not a lot dislike considering the price and value.

A basic old fashioned reasonably comfortable place in a good location for a reasonable price. The restaurant below was great for evening means after huge days of walking the town and surrounds. If you want to live in the hotel room ,then forget it.

Don't trust the directions to the Hotel given by Tourist Information at the train station. They used a subway map with a very small font and we got seriously lost. A very kind bicyclist stopped to help and could not read the map either, so he just lead us there.

Very nice small local hotel situated between the train station and the Old Town. Very good breakfast offering with a good selection and a friendly helpful staff. An outstanding restaurant/pub located on the first floor.

The staff were very nice. We had two rooms because at the time of booking (or maybe all the time?) they didn't have a quadruple room. The rooms were clean and functional, a little Spartan, but comfortable. Great light in the rooms. Breakfast was good and filling. We had dinner at the restaurant, also named Krokodil (a separate business), which was very good as well as convenient.

Parking was limited but hotel provide parking ticket at 4 Euros to cover my motorbike, however this was on the street. Bathroom was small but functional and water was hot.

Room was reasonable size and comfortable, 30 min walk to Castle, staff were extremely helpful and spoke very good English, which helped offset my German :-) Breakfast was superbly laid out, good choice and very well done. Very pleasant stay. Breakfast room had lovely views of local churn and the surrounding hills.

Our only complaint was that we were there for just one night.

The location was lovely; we could walk to all the destinations that interested us, and it felt very safe. It was also quiet. The room was light and spacious with a high ceiling, and lots of windows, and there was a flatscreen tv so we could watch the news. The bathtub was very clean and deep, which we also love. The breakfast was in a charming room down the hall, with rolls, bread, cereals, yogurts, meats, boiled eggs, cheeses, and really fresh fruit.

    The bathroom was quite small.

The bedroom was really big and very comfortable. It was spotlessly clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was within walkable distance from the train station although we took a tram. It was also only a 15 minute walk from the Christmas Markets. I would stay here again. There is also a restaurant belonging to the hotel but with a separate entrance....A very good restaurant!

The room was very basic in fornitures, and not soundproof at all. Internet connection was weak in my room. I was at the last floor, there is no elevator so it was a bit hard to go up with the luggage. There was not hairdryer, this would have been useful.

The staff was friendly and the bed comfortable. The room was clean, the breakfast ok.

Perfect location for us within walking distance of the main railway station pushing cases whilst still within easy reach of the Old Town. Also the hotel is set off a side street so was fairly quiet at night. The staff were friendly and spoke very good English.

Advice: if you do not receive a street map with directions to the parking garage, ask for one. They have copies lying in a drawer of the Krokodil restaurant. It is the private garage opposite, on the other side of the street of the EDK supermarket, not the public one next to it!

Perfect location for coming by car or train. Spacious rooms and good beds. Good restaurant next door. You can reserve a parking space by emailing the hotel directly. Due to miscommunication I parked at the wrong (paid) underground garage. Fortunately the hotel refunded the parking reservation.

Most hotels in Germany put 2 single mattresses together to make a double bed, but this place had 2 separate single beds/frames put together so we had a 2inch gap and wooden bed frame between us. Bed was comfortable but just be aware when booking a double :)

Nothing fancy, 10 mins from the station and 20 mins to the old part of town, about 30 mins walk to the castle. Basic hotel, nice staff
