It’s an older hotel with key locks and no A/C, rooms are a bit small for two...but in the location it is a great value and the breakfast is very good.

The walls are a little too thin so you might have trouble getting some rest if you get stuck with noisy neighbors, as I did. Also, my room was a little smaller than I expected but like I said, the view makes up for that.

Right on the Trave with a wonderful view of the Holstentor. Friendly staff and good wifi. The view out the window compensates very well for the smaller sized rooms. The breakfast could be a little more diverse but other than that, really fresh

Avoid room 110!! 3 single beds that are noisy and uncomfortable in a weird L shape room that will remind you of a Jugendherberge that definitely for 150 euros was waaaay to much! Oh! And the shower gives you cold water just in the right moment when it’s cozy and warm!

Lovely old hotel, lovely ambience and very clean. Situated on the banks of the riverTrave, close to the shopping areas. Great for walking around the old town. Loved the breakfast. Rooms comfortable, good shower.....lots of room, faucet was easy to use and water temperature easy to regulate. We all agreed we had chosen well with the Ringhotel Jensen!

the room was very dated with a collection of granny furniture. The room smelled really bad. The rooms were recently renovated but the old stuff was just covered up (linoleum put on top of old tiles in the bath room and carpet covering up as well). The smell was not the sort you can remove with opening windows, it just smelled like the old granny house There is virtually no WIFI. First could not even connect. Went to reception and they explained it is because many people were connected. Woke up very early in the morning, and tried again, was able to connect but it took ten minutes to just load my newspaper homepage and then lost again the connection. Then staff said this problem is now solved as next year they will have a new provider ... of course and thanks.

The furniture in our room was dark and outdated, with a very grubby dark brown carpet. The bathroom was nice and modern, but the separate toilet had no air vent or adequate lighting and smelled! I'm sure we were just unlucky with the room... Our girls' room was a bit nicer.

Having to climb to the 5th floor from 4th on narrow creaky stairways with heavy luggage. Wifi connection weak. Ridiculous to need passport or ID to get wifi connections in today's world. Even more incredulous is to have the passwords and user ID printed in 4 separate papers for 4 devices. Waste of resources and serve no good use as the connections were all weak.

Location. The hotel itself is historic, flanked by the Salt Warehouses and Holstentor. The view on the 5th floor bedroom (502) is the unique one with the priceless view. Within walking distance to all the touristy attractions.
