The breakfast is of good quality, but the service could be improved. The staff did not seem particularly pleased to work and it was even difficult to order a coffee, though it was not busy. Overall the service level of the hotel staff did not match the beautiful environment and price level.

Great location, beautiful building and really enjoyed staying in a beautifully decorated room facing the old city. The breakfast is of high quality. Overall really enjoyed the stay in the hotel.

Room I had was dated and possibly in need of an update. Wifi reception was not good at all unfortunately which hindered working a bit.

All in all a very quaint house with lovely, caring staff. Restaurant was equally very tasteful and accommodating given I arrived quite late.

Had only a very short stay in the hotel, arrived at 11 PM and left at 8:30 the next morning. What amazed me is that Booking.com said I could pay when leaving, but at the hotel I had to pay in advance notwithstanding they had my creditcard. Second thing is the service at breakfast that is included. I arrived at 7:15 at the breakfast room. After 10+15 minutes of seeing no staff I went looking for them because there was no coffee or omelette. I found them talking and laughing together in the kitchen. Asked for the coffee and some eggs. The coffee came after that, the eggs never arrived. Frankly Osnabrück has quite some good and comfortable hotels that are less expensive than this one with impeccable service, so ....

Hotel is well equipped, right in the center of Osnabrück, situated in a nice traditional house in the shopping district. Room was nice and clean, with a comfortable bed.

Very well run hotel with professional and caring staff. Our room was spacious, comfortable, quiet and with a good bed. The breakfast was exceptional with lots of variety. We initially were going to stay one night but because it was so relaxing we decided to stay a second night. There were nice little touches, such as umbrellas at the door, etc, that enhanced the experience. However it was our experience withe friendly staff that will long remembered. Our Navi took us to the wrong spot (wrong side of the town hall) and they quickly came and guided us to the right entrance.

Location in middle of the old town. Navigation system declared no access possible. They do have an underground garage....but try to find the access point! Not recommended for business travellers who do not know the location and are trying to get to their hotel at night.

Due to age of property, attic bedroom maybe not great for a tall person (low ceiling), also a bit dark, though comfortable. Bathroom also very small, but not a problem.

The matrasses were a bit on the hard side. Another suggestion would be to offer tea coffee facility in the room.

Lovely romantic room with beams on the top floor. Location of the hotel could not be better. Breakfast was delicious, not a standard fried eggs. Personnel was very attentive. My daughter turned 20 on that day and was offered a fantastic delicious cake and a congratulation note with it. Quite remarkable!!!!

We had a little difficulty finding the hotel using our sat nav. We ended up at the front of the hotel at the restaurant instead of in the side road where the entrance was. To get to the entrance we had to manoeuvre down a narrow one way road. However once there the valet parking took over without further problems.

Beautiful old building hiding a smart modern hotel. We especially liked the large bedroom with extra large beds and separate duvets. The bathroom was again spacious with double sink and wet room shower. We particularly enjoyed late evening cocktails in the cosy bar and good selection at breakfast in the quaint beamed restaurant. The reception staff, valet and bar staff were all very friendly and efficient. We only had an overnight stop at this hotel but are keen to return.

The hotel had a lovely bar area which was unavailable to us as it was booked for a private function. We had planned to meet friends there so it would have been nice to know that it was unavailable to guests.

Location was great being in the old town. Hotel was very quirky with twists and ups and downs to get to your room. The beauty of old buildings and part of the charm.

We did get one of the bad room, weak wifi, hard beds, not comfy at all, Walhalla needs to get all rooms at 5 star level.

This is our favourite hotel, usually extremely good but not this time. Some rooms are outstanding, like 234, others are not to 5 star standard. Breakfast and rest still tops.

It's a hotel in which many of the rooms are different so it's important to specify what you want as a priority (we had the opportunity to try three) such as: lift access vs stairs, air conditioning or not, balcony or size of room etc. This is not something negative though, the staff try their best to meet every customers' need and it means you can tailor your stay.
