Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyI can only give comments about the twin rooms we stayed on on the 6th floor! The shower was extremely hot water that temperature, which can't be adjusted during our 2 days stay in the room and we couldn't take shower. 😩 We informed the duity receptionist, and he told us he would've looked at it. I hope they will solve this problem for the next customer.
Customer service is first class! We were provided with whatever we required and attempted to solve arising matters in accordance with our needs. The room had a free mini bar and clean room. Special thanks to the hotel crew who worked on from 27th to 29th of March 2024. They were very friendly and extremely professional and helpful. 🙏

It located right at the corner of Central main station, which was really good and convinent.

United States of AmericaThe room smelled and the carpet in the room is old and dirty and needs at least shampooing/ deep cleaning if not compete replacement.
The front desk staff are very professional. Obviously, there's effort to upgrade the place. The complimentary drinks in fridge and the free coffee at lobby are nice touches.

JapanThe carpets and curtains were filthy. I don't know why ownership doesn't rotate out rooms for a day or two and clean the carpets and curtains on a rotating basis. Add a couple of $$ to the price, but have clean carpets. I'll be back in Frankfurt next year, and if you had clean carpets and curtains, I'd be back for sure! But I won't be back, as I have asthma and I just can't cope with the level of dirt. It's so puzzling as the hotel is great in every other way, but the carpets are simply disgusting. (and my tolerance level is pretty high!). I changed my rooms, but the difference wasn't that big.
The location is seconds from the main station and very convenient. So, can't be beat. And the staff were friendly, competent and helpful. Everyone. The staff really made you feel welcome and at home. And, even problems, (I asked to change my room) were handled without drama, with understanding, and done quickly. I was grateful for the wonderful staff.

GermanyThe facilities are in a tiny room and not cleaned well. The TV didn't work, as well the windows, walls and doors are not soundproof and old. Furthermore, the massive advertised swimming pool and wellness area costs €9. From my POV, this hotel needs a full refreshment and refurbishment. I could hear other people talking on the phone, closing their room doors or walking through the floor.
Due to its near location of the train main station of Frankfurt, where very much intercity and regional train connections, as well as all S-Bahn, many underground and many tram lines meet, it's walkable, after a train arrival. By side this, the train station has a couple of takeaways, bakeries, (fast food) restaurants and cafés, where you get food, drinks or other beverages simply.

United States of AmericaThe smell was terrible in my room! I arrived quite late (midnight) and was too tired to switch rooms. I opened the window and I think it helped a bit. I don't know if the smell was coming from the drain or what. Smelled like something had died... I usually drink water from the tap in Germany but this time, I hesitated. The inside of the toilet is stained and so is the carpet. The bathtub glass partition was very loose and so I almost slipped. The hotel has potential, used to be a 4-star hotel. Just needs some renovations.
The location is perfect, within walking distance to the train station and the price was affordable.

CanadaVery very loud guests — a small group, or couple, blasting music and talking at each other in a loud volume until 2:00 am. The window would not open partially, only wide-open and there was a very annoying electrical buzzing noise outside the window. When the window was closed the room was stuffy and smelled. When I finally did open the window in the morning, the smell of cooking was blowing in from the ventilators outside the window on the roof a metre below it. The vending machine downstairs was not fully-stocked. It was too late and I was too tired to go out to get some water, something to eat and drink. It was good I was only spending one night and then taking the train the next morning. I would not suggest a long stay in this hotel, bring your own food and water if you arrive in the evening. Bring ear plugs. Actually just better to find another hotel. On the plus side — it is very close to the train station, and the staff were cordial. Still, I won’t stay there again.
It is close to the main train station.

ColombiaIt is far from what I would expect of a 4-star hotel. Installations are clearly old, the shower was very small and had a curtain instead of glass doors and the fact that they charge extra for using the swimming pool was not a nice touch. The room also smelled a bit to tobacco. The hotel is still comfortable and pleasant but it is just not what is expected from how it is presented.
Location is good as it is easily accessible from the train station. Staff are friendly and helpful.

United KingdomThe hotel is close to the red light district, on my visit there seem to be broken glass everywhere so be careful where you walk. The staff could have been a little more friendly, a "Good Morning" costs nothing"
The "Savoy" it ain't but it was clean very close to the tram stop and train station. There is no breakfast but not a problem as there are many places to buy food. The price of the room is very reasonable.
