We enjoyed the finnish sauna but the vapor one looked old and smelly, and the wellness area looked very plasticy, fake plants, old and shabby.

We liked the size of the rooms , comfy bed, linen and sofa bed. Staff were nice! Great location! Breakfast was really nice!

Breakfast had only a limited selection of cheese and sausages. No toast available, only small rolls.A little pricey but I guess that's due to the location at Starnberger See.

I stayed for 6 nights. The breakfast was really good and delicious. I don't speak German, but the communication wasn't a problem at all, the staff mostly speaks English. Would definitely recommend the hotel.

Breakfast was great. Lots of options. Location is a little remote without a car. A friend had to pick me up at the train station and drive me to and from Munich International School every day. Loved the running path along the lake.

A spacious room awaited us all spotlessly clean. The breakfast buffet was superb with a wonderful choice. Very efficient staff who speak good English. Close to the lakeside and great for walking or taking the ferry for access to other parts of the lake.

room is v clean, breakfast is good. Though breakfast starts at 7am, they allowed me to start 10 mins earlier as we need to catch the train. One short coming is their lift: v v small, allows 2 pax only, hard time to get luggage in. Worst it operates at 7am! We had to hand carry heavy luggage down the spiral stairs ourself!

I personally don't like fitted carpet in my sleeping area which made the room quite stuffy for my taste. Also my 2 year old daughter found a pill under the bed and in screening the room before leaving I found slippers there, too. So cleaning in that area could probably be a little better.

Wonderful view, good variety of the breakfast buffet, friendly staff. We were also lucky to have the sauna area all to our selves.

Nothing could have been better

Breakfast was excellent with a great variety of food fresh bread and very delicious small croissants, The Beergarden Restaurant with best views over the Lake Starnberg is something special

I would say everything is ok but I remember how it was before they divided with restaurant, so I considered this place in one as hotel and restaurant and it was amazing. Now I got mansarde room that not so comfortable and can't use their restaurant anymore. Unfortunately my last stay there.

The playground opposite to the hotel and the river. We also took dinner at the strand Hotel which is also opposite. The room was spacious and you can call it a small flat rather than a room. Very clean and quite. Super relaxing.

The restaurant was not open and being so far away from other restaurants the option of take away was good yet not expected with a Hotel in Berg . This was not expected .
