Just be aware that there is no lift, and a lot of stairs!

The building is wonderful, and the staff attentive and friendly. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The surroundings are tranquil, and although the hotel has a very traditional feel, it also has modern fittings and a tablet hotel information guide in your room!

Based on a one night stay and missing breakfast it was a disappointing experience.

Not recommended for those having difficulty in negotiating stairs. Ten stone steps from the gravel in front of the hotel up to the front door, plus the reception desk was a further steep upward straight flight of fifteen carpeted steps. The bedroom in the modern build annex was unfriendly, and uncomfortable. Instead of curtains for the windows the bedroom had clumsy and inelegant wooden horizontally sliding shutter-doors. Because of the bedroom I would not have stayed another night.

The hotel exterior and country setting with moat. The helpful English speaking staff. The elegant diningroom.

Nothing really, maybe during summer days the lack of an A/C unit could leave the rooms a bit warm. But then again, in such an antique setting a A/C unit would look out of place.

Wonderful room, beautiful surroundings, the Schloss looks magnificent, great staff, good breakfast.

superbad WI FI, in room not work, u need special repeater for this, its easy, u can ask me how make fast wi fi in all hotel rooms, i can help. And It's not enough to look cheap coffee in the room, it spoils the look of the room and the image of the hotel, I think u need to remove it from the room or at least put Nespresso coffee machine. My recommendation is how I feel. That is, if a guest wants coffee, it's best to call the roomservice. Sorry for bad english.

However, there are a few drawbacks, the public transport is only until about 20:30-21:00 to the stop close to the Palace, which is a bit too early if one wants to go for dinner with colleagues in town. I had to take a cab every evening. It also is close to a major thorough-fare in and out of Münster, which is not ideal for a complete clean air. The choice of fabric for the room is not as classy as the rest of the Palace: it would be nice to have an update to something smoother and quainter. Having said all this, I would still return to this property! :-)

As ticked above, I liked everything about the place. The room I got was excellent and facing the little creek which made it great to listen to the ducks,
