My stay could have been longer.

The hotel has a family atmosphere. I was there last year, and the staff remembered me and called me by name. Beautiful facilities and great location. Next door to a castle and only two blocks from a tram stop

No lifts - but can't be helped in a listed building I guess. The bathroom in my room was slightly dated.

The hotel iself was an old castle, full of character and quirky charm. The staff were brilliant and the in-house Italian restaurant served up rather lovely Italian fare. The location of the hotel was great as well - went for a couple of runs in the woods near by and had views of The Isar below. Room was nice and in the eaves, fully equipped with iron and board, shoe horn, clothes brush etc.

The reception desk wasn't always staffed in the evening, which meant that I needed to get a restaurant employee to get my room key from behind the desk. This was a minor inconvenience.

Very friendly but professional staff who made the stay seem like staying with family rather than at a hotel. My room had views of the river Isar. The hotel is a few blocks from public transportation and is next door to a castle which is interesting to tour.

To hot in the rooms, to cold if I open the window. The restaurant menu could have more local dishes.

The building is very nice, the nature around too. The restaurant is relatively good too.

The wifi could do with an upgrade. A bit slow and not covering all of the hotel very well.

The location was great! Having lunch in the sun on the terrace, overlooking the valley was a relief after travel early morning from Stockholm. The meal was exquisite, Italian food at it's best. Me and my colleagues had several meals, lunch and dinners were always great. Staff were personable and friendly.

Wifi almost never worked. There is no lift and you have to carry bags through long stairs.

Restaurant, nice area. A nice young Italian man at the front of desk, who tried to help, but not the other staff.

Room very warm as no air conditioning, however a fan was in the room before we arrived which did help a bit.

Excellent breakfast, friendly staff and a great restaurant. Short walk to tram stop which takes you to centre of Munich.

No elevator which made getting bags to the room hard. Not for the handicapped. Although the hotel is German, the restaurant was Italian. I found the dinner prices to be very expensive and we did not eat dinner there. Our room overlooked the parking lot so I thought the price of the room should reflect that view. I had stayed there in the past and had a view of the river.

I liked the location. It was outside of the city, but close to get to the city easily. Room was comfortable. Bathroom modern. Breakfast was good and wait staff very attentive.

Just wish there was some English tv channels, but otherwise, no complaints.

Loved this place because of the restaurant, mostly. The food was outstanding. Probably the best grilled salmon ever, and the ravioli the night before was terrific.

The building has no lift so climbing the stairs to the 2nd or 3rd floor might be difficult for older people or with small children. The hotel parking is rather small and parking in the street limited.

The service at breakfast was phantatic, the buffet seemed small but is continuously refilled and you get coffee specialties and fresh eggs any style. The fresh fruit salad was very nice, with blueberries etc.
