    Nothing, everything was perfect.

Wernigerode is a beauty. The town itself is very pretty with a nice atmosphere and friendly people. The hotel is just outside of the city centre which is just around the corner. The hotelroom was very elegant, with a great shower and a nice big comfortable bed, and with a breathtaking view of the Castle. The breakfast can be enjoyed in a nice fresh big breakfast room with again a view of the castle. The parking was also without a hassle, and it was free.

    Lack of relaxation area

Good bedroom, well furnished and spotlessly clean. Lacked an easy chair in room, important as Hotel does not have a guest lounge. Nice swimming pool. No English tv channels Although hotel does not provide evening meals it is in easy walking distance of town centre with lots of food choice

The hotel was very clean, comfortable and chick. We enjoyed the style of the property and room. Also, our view of the castle. Breakfast was good and tasty as well though not so many options for vegetarians.

The road next to the hotel can get pretty busy and loud but this is something we could live with.

We rented the family room, it was pretty spacious, very clean and comfortable. Amazing view of the castle from the room. The staff was lovely and helpful. The pool was a great place for me and the kids to relax in. We walked everywhere, the hotel is in a great spot. Highly recommended.

    Everything was excellent.

The staff were exceedingly friendly and the breakfast was quite extensive—fruit, vegies, breads, meats, cheeses, muesli, dried fruit and nuts, you name it. The facility was spotlessly clean and the pool and sauna were fantastic. Loved everything about it.

    Nothing to dislike!

The hotel is a little out of town but is well within walking distance of everything. Fabulous view from the breakfast room looking out onto the castle high above. The town itself is charming with excellent facilities.

Breakfast was adequate but not special. You have to pay extra for breakfast, that makes the price/quality level of the hotel lower. Juices, salmon and eggs were not added after all had been used so later arriving guests had to do without.

Very good location close to the old town. Very comfortable rooms. The people were very friendly and helpful.

The bathroom was very narrow, so narrow that you had to walk through the door sideways to get in because there was a towel heater on the wall behind the door preventing the door from opening fully and the sink on the wall opposite at the entrance to the bathroom. Drying yourself in the bathroom after a shower was not easy due to the lack of room and the shower head was not high enough for my partner who is 1.85m tall.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect because it's a 3 minute walk to the centre of Wernigerode with shops and restaurants along the way. It also has a great view to the castle from one side. Breakfast was very good with lots of cold cuts, fruit, yoghurts, cereals, boiled eggs and freshly cooked scrambled eggs on demand! While the bathroom was very small, I loved the shower because it was the most powerful I've ever experienced in a hotel! The indoor pool was very nice too.

No warm water in the morning! Reason told by reception was that the boiler would be empty when everyone showers. No excuses or compensation at all!

Not that it was critical but the madras was too hard.

The location, the view from the room, the pool, the breakfast. A great hotel!

Probably because my room was at the end of the hallway but the WIFI could have had better reception. Basically okay to simply surf.

Very nice staffs, clean rooms, delicious breakfast, comforable indoor pool and main area is just a short walking distance.

Hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the main station which is OK in nice weather or I suppose you take a taxi.

Nice hotel quite near town centre. Friendly staff and English spoken by all that we met. We booked single rooms but had twin room accommodation which was spacious and comfortable. Good breakfast served in a very nice room. Would be very happy to stay in this Hotel again.
