You hear street noise and also fellow residents coming and going very clearly. Thankfully nobody was running around too late!

The shower was a bit odd and sprayed a lot of water onto the floor.

Very clean and comfortable, and well located for accessing the centre of town and the Christmas markets. The property is very old but has been renovated really nicely. The staff were lovely and very helpful.

Temperature of the room is not cold but it is not enough for winter times. When you increased of scale of heating from 3 to 5 temperature didn't increase to 5.

Staff was very kind and solution oriented. I had to check in after check in times and they helped me. Room is wide and opportunities is enough. Hotel located at old town and location was perfect.

There are lots of restaurants nearby but couldn't find a cafe nearby that was open before 9am. Probably should have booked a breakfast at the hotel.

The location is excellent; a walk straight through town from the station and very close to the Minster. Nice size room in the annexe, comfortable bed and very clean.

The staff of the restaurant was a bit unfriendly, and the kitchen closes very early which is inconvenient when you arrive late (especially if it is due to a train delay).

We only stayed one night, but the staff of the hotel was friendly, the room comfortable and the location excellent.

My room was in the guesthouse right on the street where people drink until late at night, so it wasn't quiet. It was also a bit awkward going in an out since the entrance is inside a courtyard of a restaurant

A/C would've been great. Elevator was also out when we were there, but I didn't mind the 3 flights of stairs.

The elevator was out of order so we had to take the stairs and carry all our bags. Pillows were not comfortable (as anywhere in Germany).

A cute hotel, a good location in the center of Freiburg. Dogs allowed. Not accessible by car, but there's a big covered parking lot a minute walk from the hotel, they also offer a discount for the parking. Friendly stuff.

Personally, I had no problems. But the guest wing of my room had no step-free access so the hotel is not exactly accessible. The surrounding area has almost exclusively cobblestone which is nice to look at but challenging for people using wheelchairs.

The location of the hotel was suberb. Located in the center of the old town of Freiburg, everything was within walking distance. The tram was just 5 minutes away with a direct connection to the central station. The room itself was in good and clean condition. Nothing particulary outstanding for good or bad. I cannot judge the breakfast as I always ate elsewhere.

The staff were unbelievably friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. In particular, the receptionist (Gabby - sorry if the pronunciation is not correct) was outstanding in her assistance and knowledge of what to do in and around your beautiful city. Everywhere we walked and travelled to, was exceptional, including Titisee. Thank you so much.

Bedding, especially the matress, could be better. I asked for a quiet room, and I got a room with a very nice view, but it was anything but quiet

There should be clear directions on how to access the hotel from the parking garage. It was really simple, once we figured it out. however, that was after we had lugged our bags down to the end of one street, through the Aldstadt’s gate and down another street to the hotel. In addition, the lift was not working and we had to also lug our bags up the stairs. “Park on the red level, or take the proper lift to access the red level. That level’s exit will take you straight ahead to the hotel. of the lift you are at doesn’t access the red level, go across the garage to the lift on the other side”.
