Be aware that there is a church just in front, and bells may wake you up early:)

Lovely place, amazing scenery, just a few steps away from the forest, clean air, yummy breakfast. Restaurant on the premises was really good. Stuff is friendly and lovely. Would stay there again.

The cupboard and the bathroom are very small. TV positioning is awful, unwatchable!

Ample breakfast, excellent restaurant, courteous staff, cleanliness, comfortable bed.

Rooms are small as most are in Europe.

Stayed because of location to where we visited. Had stayed before so we know what we were going to receive from a room. Great breakfast in the morning as part of the price

Church bells very loud until 10pm and start again at 6am

Very cosy, traditional feeling. Dinner in the resturant was delicious and the owners are very helpful. Room was spacious and clean.

Poor internet. If you plan working or using skype that's not the best hotel. But if you want to relax offline, that is the place you need

A very nice, cosy place with it's own charisma. Convenient placement if you plan to travel across Black forest by car. Restaurant is good and value for money, original local meals are very tasty

Rooms were in need of an upgrade but were still reasonable.

It was a good value for the money. We ate dinner there one evening and it was good. There was a good selection offered at breakfast.

Wi-Fi was fairly slow in our room, but as we were looking to "unplug" for a few days, it really was a minor issue.

The hotel is very nice, rooms are comfortable and spacious, breakfast is good (although lacking some variety) and served in a nicely decorated hall. The whole building is well-kept and clean. The owner is very kind and also speaks Italian. Located in a quiet area. Excellent pirce/quality ratio.

Nothing, even the church bells in the morning made the stay a pleasurable experience.

Location, great feeling of being in the Black Forest, Germany. Communication with owners and flexibility with arrival time on due to distance travelling Lovely breakfast.

The food and the fact that the hotel was unpretentious but provided everything I want.
