Easy friendly check in enhanced by Jack Russells who added to the ambience, the quirky touches in every space , the moped collection , the heartfelt presentation of the breakfast including chia, linseed, sunflower for the muesli . Fab croissants and good coffee. Clean rooms with own washbasin and bathrooms with good shower and selection of toiletries and bathmats .. Easy Parking. Quick walk to the Greek Restaurant . Easy to get to Media Docks where my Exhibition was. Would rebook

Everything was just fine.

The location is great for those arriving from the ship and only a short drive from the port of Travemunde. Self-service check-in is easy for latecomers. Free on-site parking for those traveling by car or bicycle. The bathrooms in the corridors are large and spotlessly clean. The breakfast is sufficient and good. This was my second time at Schweizerhaus and I can wholeheartedly recommend it to all travelers whose journey continues the next day.

Bed was creaky...

Late check in possibility with code. Easy access when arriving from Finland by ferry. Not closed parking area, but feld safe anyway for motos. Nice breakfast

Check-out could be more flexible, 10.30 is a bit early, although I appreciate the difficulties a small establishment has in terms of cleaning and turning around rooms.

Yvonne was lovely and very welcoming. It's a two mile flat walk into the town so be aware of that . Plenty of parking .

The bed-mattress was not perfect for me; lack of firm support (but than again, is it ever…?) The breakfast was fair, not exceptional (unfortunately)

It is a fairly classic (old) charming hotel. Kind staff. Clean and enjoyable. Obviously older (bath-)rooms, but functional and correct. A complete breakfast buffet was included with a fair fresh quality.

The location is far from the old town and train station, but there's a bus stop nearby. Would appreciate some vegetables (tomatoes, lettuce) for breakfast.

Nice old building, clean room and shared bathroom, good breakfast, kind and friendly owner. No problem with late arrival - there's a key box by the entrance.

Hotel situated near the main street, so if you need good transport accessibility, it is perfect. Very good communication with the hotel, we came late at night and base on hotel instruction we found the keys at the key box.

Have stayed several times in this hotel in Lubeck. As Germans would say..."Preisvert"! Easy access, confortable, excellent breakfast and very clean place.

Toiletries for shower (small sachets) were limited, better to have a dispenser. Very little around the property for eating, etc. so you need to be mobile. The wifi was not reliable, kept dropping out and having to be reset.

Spacious room and good bathroom in a lovely, traditional and quirkily decorated hotel, well located for access to the city centre. On site parking was easy. TV was good and tea/coffee provided in the room. A nice garden area out the front to sit.

Nothing comes to my mind

Hotel Schweizerhaus is located very conveniently - just 15min drive from Travemunde harbor. It is little hard to find a hotel near harbor, where you can check in ten oclock at the evening. In Schweizerhaus it is possible. Rooms was clean and nice and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was nice. The room was very reasonable priced, so I got something for my money - I will definetely come back :-)

Fire safety, no fire alarms in the rooms. Also a lot of extension cord electrics. Beds are not comfortable (too soft mattress with a hard mattress topper). Mould at the bottom floor public spaces. If you are exposed to mould, avoid.

Old style dingy hotel. Good breakfast. Spacious, clean and quiet room with a bath. Coffee/tea maker in the room. Free parking at the hotel. Would be nice with some safety updates and renovation.

I had no real blinds on my window so I was woken up a bit early. There is a lot of sound from the shared bathrooms during the night. Nothing at all terrible.

The kindest people and a lovely little hotel with great value for money in a great location.

The stairs, but mainly because I happen to have a sore leg at the moment. Normally I would not mind at all.

The breakfast room was cosy, nice dishes and nicely decorated. Also the breakfast itsekf was better than we expected. Very interesting little things all over the house. Keep the same style.

The bed was not really comfortable. And there can be some noises due to the scratchings of wood at night since it is an old building.

The room and the hotel itself were perfectly clean. Breakfast was very good, especially considering the price. Also, the size and the comfort of the room met highly our expectations. Finally, the building is really nice. One can say that it has its own soul with its decoration and everything.
