Room and bathroom were small. No room for luggage. Website said that the hotel was fully renovated in 2019, but our room must have not been part of that renovation.

The location is perfect. Beautiful view of the lake from the balcony.

Nothing really. Some wouldn't like having breakfast at the hotel down the street (about 5 mins walk). We actually enjoyed the walk through beautiful Meersburg before breakfast and there was an electric buggy to drive you down for free if you wanted. Breakfast in the Hotel Wilder Mann was excellent.

Great location with a view across the harbour and lake. Loads of places to eat and drink close by as well as easy access to the cruise boats going across the lake.

As located on the main street, it can be quite noisy; guests in restaurants and service vehicles in the morning. Also, found a few spider in the bathroom.

Rooms and bathroom fairly small however this is an older hotel and it was more than adequate. We enjoyed the stay and would certainly stay again if in Meersburg.

Room slightly on the small side but is ok if you want a room just to sleep and shower.

Very good and nice location and room was ok (a bit on the smallish side but ok) Breakfast was excellent. It was in another location but the shuttle service is very efficient and was enjoyable especially for our kid. Staff was very helpful and welcoming.

The parking area is about ten minutes walk from the hotel, and the breakfast location is about five minutes walk. Not a big problem as it's a very nice walk, and you can unload the car just outside the hotel before you park. It is a bit noisy at night though with all the restaurants nearby, especially in summer as you will want to open the windows because of the heat (the hotel does provide fans, but no airconditioning).

Parking was 12 euros and I had to park my motorcycle behind another guest in a public car park. Effectively 24 euros for one parking space

the rooms are warm and the fans don’t do much to stop that. be aware that the rooms in the guesthouse could be up one, two or three flights of stairs. would be a challenge is mobility is an issue

great location and good sized rooms. the staff in the Annex guesthouse where we stayed were lovely. note that the Annex is across the road from the hotel but very easy to access. breakfast is in a different hotel but was outstanding and in no way an issue to stroll a minute down the road to access it.

Not easy to load and unload the car. Rooms were very warm in the night, even with a fan.

They did not have more than two bottles of water in the minibar and no water fountains to refill personal water bottles. After 8pm access to the elevator is closed and you have to use the stairs to the first floor before riding the elevator which makes accessibility TERRIBLE!

Just be very aware, the Gästehaus doesn’t have an elevator, only stairs. 3 rooms per floor, even rooms 1-3 are up a flight of stairs. It really wasn’t a problem for us but if someone has mobility issues it’s good to know that.

My family and I stayed in the Gästehaus. It is conveniently located on the main street in the lower part of Meersburg. Rooms and bathrooms seem very recently refurbished and well-appointed. I stayed in room 7, on the back-side of the building. I had a view up to the castle and palace buildings. The breakfast was EXCELLENT (although it’s not in the guesthouse, it’s in another hotel about two blocks away). We paid for parking, which is in a garage across from the car ferry port (about 7 minute walk from hotel). I liked that we parked our car and didn’t use it until we left Meersburg. We walked to shops and restaurants and took a ferry to and from Insel Mainau.

The Gasthause Seehof could not be in a better location, right in the main street of the lakeside town of Meersburg with all the cafes, restaurants and weinstubs. Clean, comfortable and with neat bathrooms with lots of hot water, it made a a perfect stop-over.
