To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

The dinner and breakfast were very good and exceeded my expectations. The personnel was helpful in the restaurant. The place was clean, and they were attentive.

GermanyWhat unpleasantly surprised me is that there was no kettle or nespresso machine in the room. As I am staying a lot in hotels of the same price range, I felt like that was a standard practice. After a day out in a chilli Hamburg weather we definitely missed an option to have a cup of hot tea.
Very nice building in a perfect location just 5 mins from Stage Operettenhaus which makes it perfect for a musical night. Spacious room and delicious breakfast for a reasonable price P.S. wall art installation(?) with an apple left us puzzled. But it looks nice!

South AfricaFood purchased at ws restaurant was expensive for what you ate. Closing the bar at 17h00 was a little inconvenient Rooms are a little on the small side.
The breakfast was more than antiquate, well presented and a good variety of dishes. Well situated to transit hubs and other amenities. Very friendly and helpful staff. In general the hotel is clean and neat.

United KingdomRoom - disappointingly small, one very flat pillow each and only one bath towel to share. For how much we paid we didn't expect our view to be the car park with minimal privacy. Panoramic bar - complete letdown and you need to have crystal ball to find it as there is no signage to explain how to get there. FYI it's in a completely different building, there's two lifts and you need to guess which one is for the bar. The staff weren't great, we reserved a table and were seated in this dingy little corner with the apparent "best view" and we were really let down as we opted to book this over the actual panoramic cocktail bar down the road. More signage would be great as things are not clearly marked, we walked around the hotel twice to find the entrance and its located in the car park, there's then not a lot of signage inside to direct you to the correct building for your room etc. It's ok and ideal for central location but we won't book here again if we return to Hamburg.
The bar in the hotel was nice, we were allowed to play cards and take drinks to our room but I feel this is more of a conference/business hotel. Location - is ideal if you are wanting to get around Hamburg as the tube is literally outside but this hotel is not suitable if you have mobility issues as there are three flights of stairs outside the hotel to get to the tube/shops and port.

Excellent location with easy access to ug trains, buses and taxis for commuting to any part of the city. exceptionally clean rooms and toilets. Faucets were of good quality and perfectly functional. Staff friendly and helpful.

ItalyThe room temperature was a bit too high for my liking - we didn't find a thermostat in the room. The windows could be opened however, so we got some noise from the street but that wasn't anything too bad.
Shortly after making a last minute, late night booking, we got contacted by a hotel staff member. She kindly offered a free upgrade to our room since we were travelling with a young baby and a dog. Exceptional service!
