I had emailed ahead of time a requested an early check in due to my int’l flight. I got the formulaic reply that it might not be possible as the rooms needed to be cleaned. I was pleasantly surprised to receive an early check in upon arrival. Room was very spacious and balcony small but lovely to have doors open. Would have appreciated a chair on the balcony. View was top of roofs, but no street noise. Breakfast dry well-appointed. Would stay there again I as super close to the train station and King street,the shopping and eating district.

the wood frame containing the mattress is uncomfortable. maybe we should have requested for a higher mattress and the 2 single beds were put together instead of a space in between the beds.

hotel's location is good. reception - friendly, courteous and helpful. there is a pub opposite the hotel run by owner Sally. Service is top-notch. smoking is permitted in the pub so if you are not a smoker, it is not recommended inside but there are tables and seats outside the pub.

Very close to the center, it was easy to reach everything on foot. The breakfast was really good. There is 24 h desk service, we could get our room earlier.

One room was a little too warm. Would have welcomed tea/ coffee in the room, not just a mini bar. These are minor things in terms of our overall stay which we enjoyed very much.

Breakfast - there was a very good selection and choice of meats, fruit, breads, cereals and cheeses: as well as good choice for drinks. Service was good and staff friendly and attentive Location - was brilliant for us in the city centre very close to transportation hub - for S-Bahn for example which we used for travel outside city centre as well as use from and back to the airport. Room - the rooms we had were comfortable, clean and a very good size. Although one rooms was little too warm at times. Prior to our stay we asked the hotel to provide our two rooms to close together for our family and they did this. They also provided a twin room for one of the rooms (also asked for prior to stay) Staff - were very welcoming, helpful and could help in English where our German struggled. They were attentive when needed and helpful with any directions. Check in and departure - we were able to check in to our room earlier than usual time, which was very useful as we arrived in the morning. Check out was easy, and were able to leave our luggage securely for a few hours prior to our departure to the airport.

I wish it had a gym or some sort of arrangement with a local gym for a discount daily membership.

Great location, close to the square and train station, lovely attentive staff, who even left Christmas presents on my door and I got a visit from Father Christmas at breakfast! Bath products provided are top notch too!

Streaming services chrome cast on TV did not work. There are no tea, coffee facilities. Needs to upgrade the keys.

Very good location to shops and transport hub. Deluxe rooms are spacious and breakfast was very good. Good choice for Christmas markets too. Very comfortable stay and only a few niggles.

For a hotel in middle of big city I would have expected to have a working safe. The ones in room 118 and 117 did not work. Whilst this was reported, was told by receptionist that was a major undertaking to repair but could leave valuables at reception. Not ideal. Not great views from rooms although may have been due to asking for quiet rooms. Did not find bar area in evening inviting. Disappointing that did not serve Stuttgart beers.

Greeted with a smile on arrival. All staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Single room basic but clean. Had minibar which was reasonably priced. Bathroom clean and adequate. Nice breakfast- fresh rolls, nice hams, cheeses and smoked salmon. Stollen was a nice touch. Central location- close to Hauptbahnhof and Sbahn stop less than 300m away. Walking distance to Koenig Strasse and Schlossplatz.

They need firmer pillows, but otherwise the stay was exactly what we needed. A stop off on our way to Budapest for one night.

The breakfast was a fantastic spread. wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy it properly. The bedroom was very functional and comfortable - true to the pictures. Very helpful meeting. Reception spoke English and were very friendly.

Small things - noise at night, no tea/coffee in room, shower gel bottles faulty (they were replaced quickly); environment towel policy not followed - we put them back on the rack but they were replaced daily. Just one lift

“Hot” breakfast was ok. A bit dried out and limited selection. Had 2 twin beds and a fold out sofa when I requested 1 Double. Had to put the sofa back to a sofa. Interesting view of business buildings making a square with no courtyard.

Staff were great. Apples and water were gratis by front desk. Enjoyed the apples. “Included Breakfast” Cold breakfast was good. Had a nice selection of fruits, meat and cheeses. Room was nice, large, Bathroom was clean and shower didn’t leak/spray onto floor.
