Diffircult parking, at night is hard to understand where is allowed to park and where is not. In room was no smell, but air was heavy, it's like you feel that there was 1000 persons before. Room was very hot, heating not adjustable, opening windows also not possible because of cold wind. Too small pillow. Dissapearing WiFi!

Nice location in the forest. Fabulous rich breakfast. Nice staff.

You have to climb up the hill through forest to get to the hotel from the center. At night it's absolutely dark there. Separate beds in double room, short blanket, not very comfortable pillows. But it's all very common for Germany unfortunately. Bathroom is very small. But it's still OK taking in mind the low price.

Nice location in the forest with birds singing in the morning. Good breakfast. Very reasonable price. Lots of parking spaces. Nice staff.

A rather long walk to visit the old town.

Seems to be an up market hotel that had seen better days and is now being revived by an enthusiastic family providing excellent value accommodation and food.

The internet was slightly slow and sometimes disconnected.

My stay at Siegerland-Hotel Haus im Walde was my first night ever in Germany. The staff at the hotel was extremely helpful, polite and courteous. Truly a pleasure staying at the hotel.

While we made the most out of our time there, our timing was a little strange. No one else was in the hotel except for a handful of staff who didn't speak English (and very minimal German). They were nice and very accommodating, but everything felt a little unprepared.

The location in Freudenberg is wonderful, it's just on the edge of the forest which gives you a wilderness feel, even though you're only about a 1km walk from the old town (and the start of the Fachwerkweg hiking trails and photo viewpoint).

-- It seems that the place was reopened recently, so not all facilities were available. -- There was no WiFi. -- The pool was being cleaned and could not be used. -- Beds were not comfortable at all - slept poorly. -- The rooms could use a bit more warmth and decor...it was a bit depressing quite frankly.

++Isolated location - perfect for a weekend of hiking and relaxation. ++Decent breakfast ++Staff is friendly and helpful.

As I've looked for a decent place to sleep at reasonable price, it was perfect for my needs. It is a little bit old fashion. The rooms are not sound proofed. You could hear the neighbors snoring next room, so if you have a light sleep and noisy neighbors, your staying could suffer.

Located in nature, offering what you need for a relaxing stay at reasonable price.
