Only place have stayed at on current long holiday with many hotel stays where the WiFi hasn't worked. Reception tried their best but they did not have access to a 24 hour IT helpdesk. Also there were workman fixing room balcony plastering so making lots of noise and looking up into the room early in the morning so couldn't use balcony or open curtains. This should have been planned for midday when rooms likely to be empty.

    Very friendly reception ladies

If you book it you should be aware anyway but it is not in the scenic bit of Passau. Getting to the old town is a bit of a walk away. Not that a walk along the Inn is much of a trial anyway...

Very clean, excellent wifi, and a great breakfast spread. Close to the train station and the main public transport hub.

NO WIFI UPSTAIRS !! Chambermaid were under stress, too many rooms for a few chambermaids. Ladies at reception did not like to communicate or say hello to entering guests,

Nice balcony, we had one of the best rooms, big variety at breakfast, huge garage, bike rental and train station walking distance.

Wifi was completely unusable. Asked staff about this, but they couldn't do anything about it. Parking was full so we had to park on the street a few blocks down, this wasn't so bad but a bit of trouble with bagage. The bathroom was pretty small and didn't have any ventilation, it smelled a bit mouldy. The room had a strong smell of cleaning products or artificial room freshener. All in all, as mentioned before on Booking, the price of this hotel is much too high for what it offers.

    Good location, fabulous bed

As it's a 4 star hotel, the room & bathroom size could be a bit bigger. It was not a problem for us, but the reception is not 24 h available. (During the night you can enter through another door with your card.) The view is the wall / bush of the neighbor houses.

It's a really nicely renovated, neat, clean and cute little hotel, with kind staff. The breakfast was classic continental, with quite a lot choices. The center is only 7-10 min walk.

We booked "under roof" room, it was rather small and not very convenient as we had to save heads from the ceiling while standing up from the bed. No elevator in the hotel.

Nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Cosy and tidy room. Hotel owns garage for standard sedan cars. And the staff allowed us to leave the car in their garage for a couple of hours after check out free of charge because we wanted to walk round the city. Hotel location is within walking distance to the city centre.

    Nichts. Alles gut

Didn't have breakfast. Slept real well. Comfortable bed and I liked the fact that I could open the window get fresh air.Not like in Australia where you need fly screens to keep the bugs out. Danke

The flying ant trap in the room and on the balcony! But at least they worked. We only encountered 1 flying ant! Don't let this put you off staying here! It would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities.

Excellent buffet breakfast for 9 euros each. Reasonable sized room with a balcony big enough to have 2 chairs and a table. Good ensuite. Underground garage for our bikes.

The welkom was not friendly. No information or whatsoever. Our room was next to the breakfast room where people smoke outside, what caused that we woke up in a bad smelling room.

Good location when you want to visit Passau city center.

Possibility of slight traffic noise if a light sleeper. Earplugs thoughtfully supplied

I booked a comfort room and was amazed by the size and facilities presented, great room. Staff friendly and helpful, Unbelievable breakfast, usual German buffet with some surprising added extras. Excellent location a few minutes from the station and 10 minutes walk from the old town.

Location is not that central, it's about 30 minutes walk from downtown (the description is a bit misleading in this regard). Staff was mostly disinterested. Walls are thin, you could hear talking, walking, rumbling and other noises from other rooms (the "complementary" earplugs prepared should have been a warning.) No fridge in the room, only a minibar. Breakfast costs extra and is not included in the price, which is a bit unusual for Germany.

Large, clean and comfortable room. Wifi works well.

Excellent Location, just a five minute walk from the railway station and a leisurely 10 - 15 walk to old town Passau. OK so it's not as central as the others but really quite with comfortable beds.

The location was farther from old town than expected, the room was very warm with no fan or AC, the room has side vaulted ceilings so you can not stand up in much of it, including on one side of the bed the internet did not work in our room

    It was just okay
