You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

FranceOur apartment was on the ground floor. It was very hot and the curtains were scarce, so opening windows did not provide any privacy. The walls are really thin and we had some neighbors who, apart from being noisy, had a baby that cried all night. We couldn't rest.

SwitzerlandWe booked over Booking.com. The information provided over Booking.com from Stadthaus Gut Hügle was well structured. However, in the first communication, the instructions said "After payment you'll receive a door code." It wasn't until the day of arrival that we saw that there was a new, additional instruction within a new, quite a long message requesting copies of our identification (of all guests) and only then we would receive the code. It all worked out in the end, but as tourists without Internet connection at all times (= stress), I would have preferred if the very first message from Stadthaus Gut Hügle/Booking made the steps clear (i.e. payment + identification).
The location of the accommodation was great and the beds were truly comfortable.

GermanyThere was absolutely no presence of the owner or reception. We were actually entitled to a Bodensee Ticket, which could have saved us a lot of money in transportation or in museum visits. About this we were told by the tourist information office when we were spending the last day of a 6-night stay.

PortugalThere is no way of keeping the room dark in the morning: only some curtains. The bathroom is difficult to keep dry: water easily leaks all over the floor.
It has a great central location, easy access (code) and has - inside - a good noise insulation. You don't notice the other guests. Beds and Bedlinen are very good and comfortable.

France- Internet signal was very weak and only worked well in the kitchen and not in the nearby bed rooms - Facilities list included a washing machine; however, washing machine needs special coins to be operated which were not available to us. - Communication with the owners was difficult. They only reply by email or whatsapp, never to a phone call - that isn't good enough...

I was there for work trip and choose appointment near the office, I didn’t expected more but I was really lucky! It’s near to bus and train station and was easy to find. Rooms was nice and clean, with all necessary equipment. Bed was comfortable (we were there for one week) As I was there for work I didn’t had much free time but everything I needed were close enough - groceries, shops, restaurants and so on. View from my apartment was nice and cozy. I had some questions before and during me trip and staff was very helpful! Thank you!

CroatiaCommunication was terrible. One of the worst experience that i had when traveling, and i travel a lot. First of all you have feeling that you are communicate with the maschine and not with person. They send you a thousand words massages with hundreds rules and every rule that you brake you need to pay exactly amount in Euros. It's crazy, they have Fine Menu 😂 . I've never seen something like that. You have a feeling that they are paying you to stay in that room. My family and i where arriving with the train and we asked if we can check in a little sooner, not at 16:00 , or if it's not possible just to leave our lougage somewhere. We where declined and they tell us that we can leave our lougage somewhere in the basement but they are not responsible if something happens to it. We came back at 16:00 o clock and they didn't send us code to enter the building and the apartment. We where waiting on the street for 40 minutes, called the number on the house hundred times, nobody answered, only answering maschine. Just terrible experience, with kids present. Then at 16:40 somebody pick up the phone and give us the code and then lied to us that they have send entering codes at 16:00. In my country guest is the King, not the owner. For some people is better that they do something else in life not the tourism.
Good location and that's it.

Romaniait was difficult to communicate - only by messages and all in German language - it was quite a story to get to the code we needed to enter the building... after that all was ok.
Apartment was big and we requested separate beds - we got a two rooms apartment! can you ask for more? really quite and pleasant area. we park out of the historic area but we just had to cross a park - 4-5 min walk.
