All was good. Full marks to the Proprietor. She does an excellent job and is very diligent in running the establishment.

The Proprietor was very helpful. She sought to make us as comfortable as possible and succeeded. We appreciated and enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning. We would throughly recommend this place.

No evening meal available, but there is a Gasthaus within walking distance & it’s only a short drive into the centre of Wittenberg.

Very friendly staff. Peaceful location, traditional, cosy hotel

Location was far from town center so a little inconvenient for sightseeing in Whittenburg.

Accommodations were comfortable and adequate. Staff was friendly and helped us find free parking in Whittenburg, despite having a language barrier.

One potential downside was the distance to Wittenberg, but as long as you're aware of the distance, it won't be a big deal.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was thorough and filling. The location was wooded and fairly peaceful

Location is way out of town. we were on bicycles, so that mattered a lot, as we did not want to ride 5 k into town after a long day of riding. Which ties into the biggest problem with the place- there is no food or drink. The webpage shows pictures of people eating and drinking, but there is no restaurant or bar. Only food is the breakfast which is decent.

Some of the streets leading to the hotel are under construction, so it was a little difficult to access using the GPS. Once construction is complete, access will be straightforward.

The hostess was charming and welcomed us immediately upon arrival. The room was basic but extremely clean and — most importantly — the beds were comfortable. WiFi was available and had good bandwidth. Breakfast had a wide range of choices.

The 8:00 P.M. check in deadline can be difficult when traveling, especially given that the hotel is somewhat outside of Wittenburg.

The breakfast was amazing. Great authentic German feel. Gorgeous house with lots of character. Beautiful gardens. There is even an amazing, huge white horse towards the back of the property.

Breakfast was Ok, coffee not hot or fresh. Didn't like the bedding because it did not look/smell like it had been washed. Furniture dusty and rugs old and worn. Although it is nice to stay at a small venue in a small town we would not do it again unless we knew the native language due to communication issues.

Quite area with nice garden. Parking was inside gate. Owner was kind and tried to be helpful but didn't speak English so it was difficult to communicate.

When we asked if the heating could be turned on because it was raining and the outside temp was 15 degrees, whe were told that clothes cannot be washed on the room.

The hotel is not realy an hotel, but a big house with rooms and a holiday appt run by one lady. She helps a lot and is very friendly but a little bit to helpful, which takes away the privacy part of an hotel. The breakfast is okay but not worth 135 euro.

Stairs were a bit challenging. Only drawback is having to drive into Wittenberg., But it's near a nature preserve and perfect for a nice walk

Quaint, charming. Great location just outside of Wittenberg. Building was beautiful. The rooms were roomy and comfortable. The breakfast was a feast with hard and soft boiled eggs ceresl., Cheese, fruit, sausage, fresh squeezed orange juice, coffee,. The owner was very warm and helpful. Not really a "not like", just a fact. The hotel is 3.5KM from the Wittenberg Alstadt. About a 1 hour walk. Not a problem if you're driving your own car. Otherwise, it's about a 15 Euro cab ride. On the other hand, hotels in the alstadt are more expensive, so it balances out.

The hotel was a typical German pension, clean, comfortable, basic, less expensive. If you want all the amenities of a 4-5 star hotel, look elsewhere. Breakfast (included) was excellent! All in all, it's a great value. (Be aware, the landlady speaks only German).

Several parking spaces. A little tight to get through the gate with my mini van. Bathroom was a little small.
