To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

brilliant location 8mins from the Cavaluna park where we saw an event. great room with nice facilities. Jeeves is a nice touch but we didnt use it as the in house food at the restaurant was quite expensive

United KingdomFirst two nights spoiled by large groups of young footballers and their parents. Kids running up and down the corridors shouting, mucking around with lifts. Public spaces unusable, and virtually impossible to use the restaurant. Not the hotels fault, but they were very reluctant to intervene. Once they left, no problems!
Smart, modern, clean - room was fantastic. Kids loved Jeeves (robot room service!). Staff were very friendly. Well located- u-bahn to the city centre in under 15 mins, Allianz Arena about the same the other way.

GermanyI hated the breakfast, it was bad quality, cheap and just not tasty. They definitely have nothing homemade there and even the german bread was horrible. Such a disappointment... I would recommend they switch suppliers, have better bread & eggs (not the powdered scrambled eggs) or just not offer it at all.
Loved the bar, the rooms were great and very clean. The check in also was very fast and the staff nice.

FranceIf you plan to book a room in this hotel, double check if your room will be located in the main building. Here in the main building you can have a quiet a nice room. If you don’t have this chance, you pay the same price for a low cost room in another old building , with quick and dirty refurbishment, too hot and very small. It should not be possible to offer this kind of room with the label « rilano » . Not possible to work on the desktop because too small !
